Not sure how this trail goes from 17 to 8 to 22 - there is no connection unless you go back on 1 then to 4 then to 22. Of course if you have your head down all the time following the app it might work but then you miss all the scenery which is the reason to be out there. All nice trails but not worth this combination

It rained so it was muddy but not an issue with good hiking boots. Easy-moderate trail without too many technical sections.

Fantastic trail!!! Run counter clock!

Excellent hike this time of year to see the colours. The trail was a bit muddy in a few spots but nothing serious. Counterclockwise loop is best if you prefer to hike UP the steep parts rather than DOWN. I recommend you get there very early because when I finished around 1100, the parking lot was full with cars waiting.

Too much bush and plants in the way

Good walk for the area. Anticlockwise loop best as signed - that way you do the hardest part first

This trail works the buns! It also tuckered out our 2 year old black lab. The trail (especially trail 6) was quite scenic with some stunning views of the Ottawa valley. Highly recommend!

Liked the variety of forest, and swamp life.

Nice surface variety, well marked, lots of natural habitat

Main challenge elevation. middle 3k has irregular trail features, views. Rest is multiuse trail.

1st half is steep, irregular. Perfect. Nice views, lovely creek. Sunny August day, so no bugs.

Great workout for a novice hiker. Lots of variation of terrain and scenery. A fun mother- daughter outing!

Thoroughly enjoyed this trail. Great look outs and much of it was shaded which was nice in the heat. Lots of friendly people too.

This is our family's regular go-to trail. Couple hours, really good uphill and nice fast way down. Great in all seasons, including on snowshoes after a good snowfall.
For the à Ottawa region, can't beat the wolf trail / Blanchet from P13!

Really nice trail for a jog!

Really nice walk! Took me around 2.5 hours for the route provided. It’s definitely not dog friendly right at the start/finish but I’d say that 3/4 of the route was dog friendly. I parked at the Old Quarry Trail parking lot and there were signs saying no dogs on the trails but I had my dog on leash the whole time and no one said anything. It wasn’t overly scenic, but it was a nice forest walk! There’s lots of ways to make the walk shorter or longer so I’d definitely do this one again!

Lots of amazing views

Great trail with nice view of lake. A little too easy for me so stopped to go into the caves. Best part was wading through the cavern waters and being underground!

This trail is awesome with some amazing views when you get to the top!

The trail covers pretty much all I would like to test on the hiking boots. Very nice.

This trail is a 9k. and not for beginners it’s hard.

Enjoyable summer hiking trail, with enough short, steep, hills to make it more than just an easy walk. Yesterday there were summer cycling camps using the shared part (#1) with some pretty terrified looking youngsters and we had to watch out and move off the trail a number of times. #6 section is "hikers only" and worth the extra time. The views are spectacular.

Awesome trail with lots of variety. Some parts are wide and easy and some are windy. Some ruins are here too. Definitely recommend trying it! Unfortunately there was a young female who had her car broken into at the parking lot. The thief stole her wallet. I felt bad for her because she was from Fredericton, NB.

great trail that takes a few hours. some difficult bits but mostly is a good hike. has some great views along the way and plenty of wildlife.

Nice place for a walk. It’s mostly flat so it’s easy for everyone. Lots of recent rain and standing water meant lots of mosquitoes. Take something for the chickadees and nuthatches. They fly at you at the first junction on the north side of the loop (leaving from the Eagleson parking lot).

We enjoyed this hike and it provided a great workout. It was steep in spots, and rocky, but offered two lovely lookout areas that were well worth the climb. Pleasantly surprised with this trail. Hardly any bugs (August).

I’ve done this trail twice now and I really enjoy it. When I hiked it at the end of June the bugs were quite bad. However, this time we didn’t experience any bugs. Today we hiked in the pouring rain, the rocks were a little slippery in spots, and it was a bit muddy. A great trail nonetheless.

I took my 13 year old and 7 year old on this hike. It was long but fairly easy. Going through the cave made it totally worth it but be prepared with water shoes and headlamp to get through the cave.
