Garden of the Gods Map

Easy trail with a great view!

Garden of the Gods was not very impressive after doing a lot of hikes in AZ and Utah

Very little traffic compared to the main park, offers beautiful views year round. The steps going back up the trail pose a little difficulty for some, but if the trail is taken completely looped around, it's not really an issue. Highly recommend!

Paved path. Easy. Nice views.

Super easy and short. The Rock formation was really beautiful and a great photo opportunity.

Easy for the out-of-towners but still well worthwhile.

Short hike up with a beautiful payoff! The area can get pretty busy with people trying to get their pictures in, especially during the summer but well worth the trip year round

First time there and it was beautiful. Flat, paved walk. Great for the family. Lots of people!

Nice red sandstone formations. Easy paved road.

Very pretty rock formations. Flat walk/hike mostly on pavement.

This is an easy trail with a big and beautiful payoff! So worth the short hike. The views are breathtaking! Just watch out for of the ground is covered in ice in the winter.

If you are an avid hiker, this is not very exciting.

This is an easy loop and not even a little moderate. There are more interesting trails in the park. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a wonderful easy little loop, but there are other trails in the park that make it clear this one can’t be 5 stars.

This trail gave me a tour of complete garden of the gods area. The landscape is so beautiful I can't explain in words.. Must do for everyone. Loved it.

Nice easy trail

Easy hike with a great reward.

Beautiful hikes. Pretty easy hiking with great views!

Pretty easy hike, paved mostly so great for littles. Awesome rock formations to check out too!

A terrific trail to view and appreciate the beauty contained within Garden of the Gods Park. Not only outstanding scenery but definitely less traveled than the central garden paths. Be certain to keep a watchful eye out for Bighorn Sheep on the Northern portion of the trail. Plenty of photo opportunities along this trail featuring plenty of fabulous red rock formations.

The Palmer Trail and the Susan G. Bretag trail wrap around the outside of the park to offer some great distant views of the rock formations! Great opportunity to get away from the crowds.

great relaxing paved trails. saw deer and rabbits. Some areas are off the paved bits and have stunning rock formations.

Beautiful views and easy.

Great trail with awesome views. Easy hike. However: Beware, there is lots of horse traffic on this trail. We got stuck behind a horseback tour & my dog spent our whole hike trying to eat horse poop! Plus, it stank. Not very pleasant.

Great views & quick hike. I’d actually call the terrain more Moderate than easy (some rocky parts where it’s not 100% clear which way the trail leads, but the area is small enough you couldn’t get lost). Perfect tacked on after a longer hike elsewhere in the park.

Some great views, short and sweet.

Fairly easy trails to follow. Lots of options to make it a longer hike. We took our two small dogs and they had a great time. Trails weren't crowded, but we did see other people out hiking or trail running. Better earlier in the morning for dogs. Not too many places to refill water so plan accordingly especially if bringing your dog. We did see warning signs for rattlesnakes but didn't see any snakes. There is a nice picnic area and restrooms about halfway along the hike at Pullout 13, Scotsman Picnic Area.

So amazing! Trail was mild and easy to follow. Seeing pictures before we went I thought we would need to climb into some crazy spots for the views but that wasn’t the case at all!

Awesome and stroller friendly!

Soooo beautiful! I had a great time.

So beautiful. Park in the Nothtrailhead Parking lot and cross the street to start the trail. :) if you start on the right, you'll come out on the left and vice versa. follow some of the recordings.
