So glad we went on this trail. Views were beautiful and the caves were really amazing! I would have given it 5 stars but the trails are not marked well at all! We went off a trail and didn’t realize it for quite some time!

I loved this trail. As you begin your hike don't let the dry creek bed concern you. Most of the year the creek flows underground. It remains dry until just before you reach the natural bridge. You can walk beside the creek under it. Be careful of slippery rocks. There are two small caves just above the natural bridge. They are fun to explore but are not the one with the waterfall. The trail gets steeper as you hike to Eden Falls. There is a nice overhang to explore there. The trail continues very steeply up to the cave. At one point you must crawl before it opens to a room with the waterfall. There were plenty of children and elderly people who went back successfully, but it gets so low before it opens up the you start to believe you can't go any further. Once you get to the back it is well worth the bumped knees and head. I recommend a strong flashlight the will illuminate the room well. It is always recommend to have at least three sources of light. I was in a cave once and accidentally broke two lights. I always carry plenty now. Have fun!

Beautiful views along this quiet trail in mid-March. The marked trail includes a descent down a fairly steep pass, however there is a slightly longer, hike around the bluff that meets with a wide path that takes you down into the valley leading to Sams Throne.

The trail is easy to follow until you get to the creek bed, then it’s anyone’s guess. This place needs markers! There are two trails that cross each other and unless you’re an expert you have no idea which path to take.

Quick and relatively easy

We hiked this trail the other day. It was a little over 6.5 miles roundtrip taking the Goat Trail to the Big Bluff with around a 1000 ft. descent going in and a 1000 ft. ascent coming back. The trail is an old logging trail and can be rocky at times. The views are definitely worth the hike. The goat trail is narrow, but is not dangerous if you are paying attention. Bringing a lunch and having a picnic at the Bluff is a memory that we will cherish.

We hiked this trail this past week. It has a waterfall, caves, and beautiful rock formations. The trail is not difficult and good for families. Highly recommend for those that love nature.

We hiked out to the Hawksbill Crag this past week. It was a very enjoyable hike. It was not very difficult, about 3.2 miles with about 100 ft of ascent. My 4 yr old daughter handled the hike without issue. The view from the Crag was something to behold. Highly recommend this hike.

Enjoyable hike, several trails to choose from.

Another amazing AR hike! The views here were outstanding, especially since we went at the peak of fall. We had a couple people show us how to hike all along the upper part of the bluff, and found one spot to climb down and check out the underneath portion. IMO the upper part is the best part though! Will definitely come back!

This is a great trail with many small waterfalls and a very beautiful one at the end. UNFORTUNATELY it has been closed for a year and the owner anticipates it being closed until next year. A bear and her cub have taken up residence in the area. This is 2018 and again it may open in 2019.

Nice trail. Several distance options to choose, so good trail for pretty much anyone.

When we arrived there were only a few cars at 8:30am, and we saw minimal people in passing on the way in. Then on the hike out, they came in by the droves! But I don’t blame them, the views of creation are beautiful from this trail.

Loved it! We went on a sprinkling and foggy morning and arrived around 9am and had the whole place to ourselves until about 10:30! It was great! Beautiful scenery and fun to explore!

Pretty well marked. Had to come from the south side because county road was fenced off from the north.

It was a scenic hike, but lots of people on this trail after 10am.

Waterfalls, beautiful rock formations and not too bad of a hike!! Perfect

It’s a short, semi-technical trail that makes for a fun run in town. Some of the back trails are single track, but the highly trafficked areas are wide and even. I’d rate it higher but there’s no access to the lake.

The hike was good and not too hard! The rocks are amazing. There’s a cave system underneath the trail too that is worth spending time looking through. Beautiful!

Easy hike. The caves are super fun. Especially when the falls is actually running. Look for Eden falls too, it’s stunning!

This is one of my favorite hikes in the Buffalo. It’s view is stunning. The hike is difficult but so worth the effort! You can continue the trail down to the river but sometimes it’s closed so beware!

The hike was easy and beautiful. I’ve been in different seasons and all are lovely.

So many memories of this trail over the years with my Mom who is now in Heaven. We use to be able to camp at the beginning of the trail but flooding stopped that. This is a beautiful, well maintained and still being improved trail. The Spring flowers and wild lilacs are amazing! The creek bed is usually pretty dry when I have been but there are some amazing formations in the bed. At the mouth of the stream sometimes it is full and flowing and a sight to see. If you continue on up you can go into the cave and see the falls. Be careful to stay on the trail too many adventurers have wondered right into dangerous and deadly situations up there above the falls.

Nice, easy trail for walking/running/biking. One short section that depending on your fitness if you’re biking that might offer a challenge as its steep. This trail is typically busy due to its location by Crystal Bridges but is my go-to place when I just want to get outside and enjoy the day. You can continue on with the North Bentonville Trail if looking for additional mileage or connect to several dirt trails connecting to it, though watch for mountain bikers.

Did this a few years ago while working EMS. Unfortunately, we had to rescue a hiker from the waterfall. All I remember was it middle summer, hot and at night and about 12 guys carrying a patient. I do look forward to doing it again, but in the daytime and with just my pack.

First off this is down a very steep mile dirt road. Vehicles that are low to the ground are gonna have trouble. Trail is nice this time of year with no overgrowth yet but you can tell when it gets warmer there will be tons of spiders and snakes. Water was up today and there are several places you need to cross. Bring water shoes or shoes you do not mind getting wet. Falls we’re not really great as there was just a small stream of water but it’s still beautiful. Nice hike to start off the spring season.

Great trail, very well maintained.

Awesome hike! Lots of water to tred through along the way, beautiful sights, and good swimming hole spots!

Down the entire way to the goat trail and bluff so be prepared for that! Some of the descents (and eventually ascents) are steep and the rainy weather makes them all that much more difficult but not bad at all and very doable! I’m not in shape and I only had to take a break once at the very end.

The scenery is nice on the way to the goat trail, but the goat trail is gorgeous and makes the whole trip worth while and then some! Highly recommend. We stopped and spent a good amount of time at the end and still got back to the car in 3.5 hours.

Awesome Hike, Beautiful Views
