Fun & relatively easy trail! Also, don't miss Eden Valley Spur trail.

Great hike! Great view on horsetooth reservoir!

Upper and lower Copeland Falls are a short easy hike less than half a mile in. Calypso Cascades is about 2 miles in and is slightly more uphill. Both are beautiful!! We arrived at the trailhead about 3:30pm and there were several spots to park. If you hike past Calypso Cascades about another mile you'll find Ouzel Falls. Much steeper and took about another hour up. Beautiful!! Took us about 3.5 hours round trip.

Took the shuttle from the park and ride to the Glacier Gorge trailhead then up to the falls. The hike was good not too difficult. There were a handful of people on the trail then lots at the falls. Several people taking family photos and others having picnics.

This is one of my least favorite hikes in the park. They’re all so gorgeous & the falls are a little underwhelming in comparison

easy trail. not much scenery. we did however see a beautiful elk today. I guess they are allowing hunters to come out between now and December and closing trail monday through weds. :( it's nice that it's not too far away. several dogs out even on a Friday morning no poop bags so be sure to bring your own.

Hiked to Alberta Falls from Bear Lake. Very well maintained trail. The falls themselves were decent. Continued on to Loch Vale and Timberline Falls afterwards.

Pretty trail, about 4 miles out and back. Lots of options to go further if you want to.

Nice hike up to pretty waterfalls! Lots of big rocks for big kids / adults to climb on to get extra close! We took advice from previous post and started trail at Bear Lake trailhead and then took Glacier Gorge trailhead to shuttle on way back down —> there was no point in climbing all that way back to Bear Lake since we hiked all of those lakes the day before!

Beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. A little steep but short and rewarding! Saw lots of cute muskrats swimming around in the lake.

Since we had already seen all we wanted to near Bear Lake area: (Bear, Nymth, Dream, and Emerald) we hiked to Alberta Falls and then hiked to the Glacier Gorge trail head and then shuttled back to Park and Ride. This saved some uphill walking and was recommended by a ranger.

Waterfall was busy with people and was just OK.

Nice quick run. Flat to rolling terrain, mostly open with no trees until you get to the back half. I saw one deer creeping through the trees mid-way through. The trail was well marked.

Awesome fall colors and all around gorgeous hike!

Nice views.
Scenic drive. The trail dead ends at South end of lake so you must back track or complete a loop around the lake which isn’t very scenic.
Heads up: A $14 park pass is required to park in the parking lot. You must purchase the pass at the park office which is about 10 minute drive from the parking lot, and easy to miss. Not worth it since there are so many other free, beautiful hikes around.

We loved this hike! The colors were brilliant today, the hike is a little steep but so worth it. The falls at the end are spectacular!

started from bear lake to lake haiyaha to alberta falls to glacier gorge shuttle stop. don’t get me wrong, the hike was beautiful, just didn’t find the falls too impressive. maybe it would have been different if i looped the other way?

Good spot! Pretty easy and heavily trafficked but worth seeing the waterfall!

Loved this hike! It was easy enough for my 10 year old to do. Gorgeous views, several bridges to cross. The Falls were beautiful and changing colors of the fall leaves made it even prettier.

Went out today. There were quite a few dog walkers and two or three mountain bikers. The weather was perfect. I only saw a few rabbits; no deer. The terrain is easy if you're only walking. It's very rocky if you're running it.

Waaay too crowded. Saw a guy who thought it was cool to bring his gun to the reservoir. Motorboats are a big distraction if you’re looking for some peaceful nature. Again, the gun didn’t help things.

Couldn’t have asked for a nicer hike with my 8 and 11 year old kids. Started at Bear Lake Trailhead so it was .6 mile to the top. At the top there was a great view and a nice place to have a snack and feed the chipmunks.

8/25- the trail got hot in a hurry and almost all the reviews we read there was shade but we had no idea it was as far in as it was. It was too hot for our dogs, a lot of rocks which got hot. You won’t see shade on this trail until well after 2 miles in. Be prepared. Will do it again when it’s cooler.

Favorite short fall hike to bring friends.

Hi! I took my dog and my friend/ her dog on this trail this morning… It is very easy with a few elevations, and very pleasant! We did the entire loop in about two hours or less. It is very well marked, which is very important. There are numbers around the trail head and they show you where you are in relation to the map. I highly recommend this trail for a semi-easy nature jaunt. There weren’t very many people there as well!
