First time on this trail and it definitely does not disappoint. A little more difficult than I wanted due to my son and I packing out camping gear as well, but had a great time and will do it again.

really hard, not like a stair master, much higher steps and increasing elevation. met several people from sea level states, requires lots of breaks to 'catch your breath.'

Despite what some reviews say, this is an easy hike, particularly for Utah. You can also access this from the Granite Trailhead. It is generally quite busy and you will see plenty of eager and energetic children on this hike, as with most easy and moderate rated hikes in Utah.

Super easy, but good view. Just a good Sunday stroll.

Really good view, really steep. Good warm up for upper bells reservoir in my opinion. West slabs scramble is a lot more adventurous, but couldn’t find anywhere to rate.

Love this hike. Super quick, only hard for about a mile tops. Gives you lots of time to chill there. Done this so many times can’t count. Ha

Suuuper steep but 100% worth the view. One of my favorite hikes of all time.

Great time of year to go. Wild temp change from sweating hot to super cold towards summit. Definitely exhausted at the end but totally worth it. Didn’t actually need that much water. 1 liter this time of year was good for me. Friend took the wrong path near top so be sure to stick to the trail. You reached the top when you find the black mailbox.

Meh, not so easy with 4 kids...

Such a beautiful hike! The last stretch is just as they say: steep and rocky. But the hike is worth it.

It’s ok...pretty views of the mountains at least. It is a short hike but definitely more moderate than easy, just because it’s more of a very steep climb. Pretty much the whole way to the reservoir you are climbing large rocks and high steps. Kind of a pain when you have short legs.

真的很棒,最后一段的攀爬那简直就是精华。很累,费腿。
值得一去,但是强度不小。

Did this hike yesterday and it was so worth it to see the view at the top! It’s defiently a harder hike with a steady incline. On Sunday not many were using the trail and it was cloudy so it was a great day to go. Only thing was you start getting into some steepness and straight rock climbing the last little bit. It was also crazy windy so just prepare for it. I’m sore now but I will do it again!

The last few reviews were very accurate. Highly recommend this hike.

Real steep but doable. There is some scrambling near the end on some pretty exposed rock. Take your time on this one, the views are worth the hike.

Nice loop, hard at first due to the incline, but that does not last long. Well maintained trail and a cool bridge.

Nice little hike.

Really fun scrambling up after the saddle, to the Peak. Not as hard as I was lead to believe. Totally worth the effort for the view!

In spite of being along the main road a lot of the time, this was a pretty and enjoyable trail! Lots of shade and some sun. Gets really good toward the highest point/furthest in. The river of beautiful and there are a lot of huge rocks. Also, plenty side trails too. The trail continues at the end of this trail, after the bad ass remains of a building, but I didn’t try it...yet!

Steep. Yes. Difficult. Yes. Just keep pushing and the views are totally worth it. There is a log book on top. The scramble scary part is only about 15ft the rest is much easier ish. Lol.

Beautiful, I was not expecting to go this route but when a sign say waterfalls you have to take it. It does get a little intense but if I can do it anyone can. It’s worth the trek it took me just shy of four hours to go up and back down. I did round the lower resinous just to wrap it up but very worth it.

Awesome!

I wouldn’t call this an easy!!! It’s steep the first half mile. Initially brought my 70 year old mom and older sister who were visiting from out of state because it was rated as easy. They wanted a pretty hike. We had to leave, it was way too strenuous for them. So I came back another day. It is busy and lots of families with young kids. It’s a narrow trail in many places and kinda challenging (annoying) when toddlers are blocking the path picking up rocks and parents are just allowing them to block people! The good thing is no dogs are allowed so you don’t have to smell dog urine or worry about stepping in dog feces! Took me about 20-25 minutes to reach the reservoir, with a few stops to catch my breath. The sound of the water in the creek was awesome!

Nice loop hike with great views of the Salt Lake Valley

Great trail if you’re looking for an intense exercise going up some really rocky and dirt trails. It consists of going up the initial peak from the trailhead, which leads to a path surrounding a small, dried-up lake. My friend and I went left from there, where we hit a few side-trails that went further into the forest (probably to get closer to the lake), up to where we find a sign that marked where the waterfall trail actually begins.

From that sign, we ascended upwards through some forest that offered some scenic water/stream views, and after much progress, the trail becomes extremely rocky and treacherous. Be sure to take many breaks and bring tons of water. Eventually you’ll make it high enough where the trail veers to the side, where you’ll have to traverse both dirt and rock to make it to the actual waterfall.

Thankfully the trail isn’t too bad going down, but be very careful of your footing because it’s easy to slip when stepping on loose dirt and gravel.

All in all, good trail, but I would only come back for the sidetrails and wildlife instead of going all the way back to the waterfall.

I found it to to be a good amount of challenge with great views as the pay off. Took a little over 4 hours round trip but I have not done much hiking this year so I’m not in the best shape. We went at about 8:30 and the bugs were not bad at all. It’s really nice that there are places to sit and rest once you get to the falls. Great views of the city as well. My garmen showed about 5,5 miles to lower falls.

Great hike. Started early morning, we were in the shade mostly the entire way. Dog loved it! About halfway into the hike it’s extremely steep and rocky, multiple ways to go up, not a specific trail outlined but we figured out which way to go. Excellent view at the top, worth it!

great trail beautiful scenery got some really steep hills though.

The trail leading up is extreme, it inclined so fast and steep. There is a lot of rocks and things you need to climb over. It’s beautiful, pace yourself and you should be good.
