Very unique hike! The rocks can be pretty slippery in spots so wear good shoes. Saw two other people on today’s winter hike. We completed it just under 3.5 hours with a quick lunch.

Hiked this on a foggy, muddy Sunday morning. Despite the conditions, this was highly worth it and highly recommended. There's a decently large parking area. No restrooms at the trailhead. Very muddy and slippery right now, but all the bridges are in good shape. Hiking poles would have been nice to have. A couple of smaller trees have been blown across the trail, but the bigger trees that fell on the AT portion have been taken care of. We didn't get any views because of the weather, but it was still hauntingly beautiful. Only passed 3 other sets of people (including two rangers). Must not get much traffic on a winter Sunday.

Nice hike. we stuck to the red trail this time but definitely going back!

This trail is beautiful, but it needs some TLC. There are lots of downed trees on the path and on the road that leads to the park. I love the bench at the top. Nothing like "sitting on top of the world with your legs hanging free."

Nice trail. Lots of stairs in the beginning but after the stairs it’s not too bad. We’re not in the best shape but we’re able to handle it just fine but it was tough. Saw a variety of people (kids, elders, runners) so it’s really not that hard of a trail.

Views at the top were very nice as were views of the falls on the way up. We went on a day it was a little rainy and it was a little slippery (wet rocks and wet leaves) but very doable even if the weather isn’t ideal.

It’s an out and back and my Fitbit clocked in just over 4 miles for the whole thing so I don’t think the distance is accurate on here.

Bring $3 for parking and ladies bring toilet paper if you plan on using the restrooms at the parking lot.

Was only about 40 degrees today but felt lots colder at the top in the wind. Beautiful day, great hike!

There had been lots of rain and the falls were fantastic. Glad we had our hiking poles for stability on the wet rocks and leaves.

It’s tough but the view is worth it!

Great, quick hike!!

Hiked this trail this past July. It was a well maintained trail and a good workout! It gets you sweating and feeling good. It is steep but nothing crazy. Pack snacks and bring plenty of water to enjoy the view at the top!

Worst trail ever unless you’re lucky enough to go with a group that knows the trail. VERY POORLY MARKED AND EXTREMELY CONFUSING AND VERY DIFFICULT TRAIL!!! Don’t let it fool you or you may wind up missing or worse! Never again! Too scary for me and I attempted 3-4 times. Officially giving up on this one! NOT EASY AT ALL!!! Moderate or Difficult! I found it extremely difficult. I’m also mentally disabled though. Very stressful hike to figure out so I’m giving up. No views at all totally WORTH SKIPPING!!! Better trails are everywhere!

The hike was challenging but the view was worth it!

Love the hike up to the top and the view was magnificent!!!

This is a great “developed hike”. The trail is maintained , with wooden lookouts over the falls to keep visitors safe. Great trail for kids if they will listen and stay where instructed. The lower portion is accessible and when it isn’t too wet wheelchairs can even get access. Hmm. Go during an off season and avoid the crowds. We’ve done it while it was snowing lightly and were nearly alone.

We hiked connecting from McAfees Knob trail and it made for a beautiful vista as well.

Hiked to Tinker Cliffs on 10/31/18 and trail was in great shape including the 2 bridges. This was my first time hiking this trail and I was very impressed with the trail and the view from the top. Took me about 1:40 to get to the top and it was worth it! I’d recommend walking another 5 minutes to the left when you get to the top for maximum view.

An ABSOLUTE MUST. Awesome trail, and a lot of fun! If you don't hike the loop there's a side trail to the right (when looking up) you can walk back down, it's extremely steep though. The view is well-worth it. Bring lots of water, and a couple snacks. This is a day hike if you're planning to climb to the top.

Fun hike, view of the falls is ok

Very nice hike. The falls are beautiful. I love how the trail brings you back to the falls at several different levels.

This trail is awesome! And the view from the marble yard is insane! But be warned it is extremely strenuous, I honestly have no idea how people bring children on this trail. The trail is very rocky and at times extremely steep. Not easy on the knees, but if you can take it, the views are totally worth it.

Good workout! Pretty steep uphill at parts. Our dog was worn out. Great views of the waterfall, and an amazing view of the mountains at the top made it worth it!

This trail was amazing, and the rock scramble was a blast! It wasn’t as tough as I thought it would be, but it’s no walk in the park. The trail hugs the side of the rock scramble tightly and is pretty narrow and steep with lots of loose rocks. I will definitely be taking more trips out that way to spend more time. The scenery was beautiful.

BRIDGE IS OUT! We tried to do this hike this morning but the bridge about .7 miles in is washed out (probably by hurricane Michael). We will try again in a few months.

Excellent and higher end of moderate for those hiking with kids.

So lovely and peaceful for easy walking through the trees. One of my favorites.

Very foggy day, but absolutely gorgeous! Great uphill walk. Dog friendly was nice as we gave 2 hounds. There was traffic on the trail, but not too bad.

amazing hike, very steep incline for a short distance hike but you are alongside the waterfall for the majority of the time and there is a couple rest spots if needed, went right after a rain storm and the falls were flowing hard, nice view if you go alittle further past the fall

This was a fun day hike! It was a little too crowded for my liking but overall an awesome experience. It is quite a climb up all of the stairs but worth the views and it is nice and easy on the way down.
