Hidden little gem in Fundy. Enjoy hikes by rushing water/waterfalls and this didn’t disappoint. It made for a nice easy walk my 4 year old and I could do together.

Awesome little trail and if it weren’t for so many of is tourists, it’d be incredibly peaceful! I can see why reviewers before me gave it such a good score.

This trails goes farther up the river than described here. I believe total there and back from the fork is 16.4 km parts of it were a little more complex as you had to watch your footing. Overall a great trail really makes you feel like you are in the wilderness. A few river crossings but a rope was provided for you and the water was very refreshing while hiking.

Awesome hike with an amazing waterfall at the end. The trail follows a constant downhill grade right to the falls (2.2 miles). It gets a little steep at the end but still quite manageable. Not too difficult as long as you are agile and somewhat in shape. Once you reach the stream, keep going down and towards the left. (This part is a bit tricky but not too bad). After a couple minutes, you will reach the waterfall! The hike back is all uphill. At a steady pace, this entire trip (including a 25 minute break at the falls) took us a total of 1 hour 50 minutes (4.4 miles) Totally worth it!

Great hike! Take your time and enjoy the views. Some steep sections but overall a wonderful 5km hike in the woods.

Not for the faint of heart, it’s a fair trek in and out and not to be underestimated. It’s one of my favorites partly because of the waterfall, but it’s definitely not an easy hike.

This trail is not for the faint of heart! The first 1/3 of the trail is on an old logging road now covered in large pieces of crushed rock. Challenging with hiking boots - would not attempt with sneakers or sandals... Once off the road the trail is very enjoyable. There is one steep decline followed by a steep incline. The return trip more challenging but we were tired by then. Make sure the tide is out as inlet makes a beautiful beach to rest and eat at. I will do it again, but will aim for a cooler day

Well worth the time, incredible falls and a good workout

Hiked on a grey, Warm May 10 day There was fog on the water. Hike is actually 5.5km not 4.5 as shown in park maps Well defined trail, impossible to get lost There were a number of small streams with little waterfalls throughout the hike which was nice Much of the hike is through the woodsbut is interesting between the varied fauna and mixture of flat portions and sloped areas Trail in good condition The highlight is the shoreline vistas which are plentiful Enjoyable hike which I did with my little dog Joey Would do the hike again

Short trail, mostly stairs and board walk. Lots of running water and nice falls. Lots of reward for little effort

This trail was stunning! Would absolutely go back!

during winter time the gate was closed, at the start of the golf course. so this meant an extra 2km walk or so. great day on the trails, well worth the hike. I would suggest bringing cleats during winter time!

Cool trail, goes thru the forest and along a bluff on the coast overlooking Fundy with views of Squaw point. Lots of flowers.

One of the best hikes in FNP. I did this trail as part of the Fundy Footpath in 2010, then again in 2017 I included it in a hike to Goose River Falls and back.

Great trail, well marked. Beautiful Falls!

great place to go with kids

Easy trail but the nature is just fantastic. Like you are in the Elfen Forest :) waterfalls and moss are unique, cool even on a hottest day.

Beautiful hike, spent the night on the beach. Undergoing some construction currently- looking forward to seeing how it turns out!

It's an easy walk with lots of views of the water, shoreline, and beaches

You need land owner permission to access the private road past the white gate. If you do not have their permission it is about 15 km in and back.
We love this trail and try to do it yearly. It is a lovely walk through the woods for the majority of the walk. It is not until the last km or so that you are walking up a steep granite dome. However once you reach the top it is magnificent! We heard loons in all throughout the evening and early morning . It was magical. The light pollution is little, so perfect for night photos. You can see the city of St John and the Bay of Fundy in the distance.

Excellent falls not to difficult to get to worth the uphill back.

Superbe. Plusieurs options pour la distance. . Dans le bois et avec quelques points d'eau; belles vues par temps clair (mais c'était dans les nuages pour nous).

Nice trail with a steady descent to the falls. Demanding climb back out almost the whole way, but my 7 and 9 year olds did it. If you are confident your kids are good hikers, should be ok. My Strava recording said it was 8.9 kms, and 196m of elevation though - different than the description says.

Great hike, great ocean views. Good variety including meadow, woods and coastal sections.

It was short but very beautiful in a subtle nature lovers kind of way.

Very nice for what it is, but this is just a walk - very short. Good for getting out of the campground with the youngest of children. Nice mossy waterfall and brook most of the way.

Easy trail with a boardwalk that lead to a waterfall. Fun short activity! We went early in the day and we were the only ones there- drove by later in the day and the parking lot was packed!
