Beautiful views, too bad the trail is garbage. You're better off making your own switchbacks than following the "trail" on the first and last stretches. But the fact that it's difficult makes it less crowded - I was the only one at the summit for a half hour!

Very narrow in places. Started out on snow shoes but had to take them off due to the narrow trail. Snow was deep in places and the trail was very uneven.

Hiked Feb 19 - Traction devices required.

Ok trail. Mostly just views East. Trail was mostly snow with some areas of ice and mud. Trail was very uneven with lots of holes in the snow and not fully packed down from hikers walking in the deep snow and horses in the snow. So felt like we had to constantly watch the trail so we didn’t step into the deep holes and twist an ankle.

Beautiful views! Lots of snow but not bad with spikes and poles. Bring gloves and get ready to scramble to the summit! There was probably 3 feet of snow at the summit today.

super sloppy today . heavy snow yesterday plus 50 degree sunny weather today makes a messy trail. got to the false ridge and turned back because it was late
