fantastic view from the top, but awful time getting down. slide on my butt the whole way under the trail stayed again (about a mile) worth it. dress accordingly

Nice well kept and well marked trail. Interesting scenery and views. Extremely easy. This seemed to be more of a bikers trail but they were all polite and had good trail etiquette.

Nice long hike with some ups and downs. Make sure you have gps - only way to follow the trail silence there are a lot of unmarked trails on this mountain. Struggled to find the Flow Dog trail after splitting off from 715 so we ended up using the dirt road back to the parking lot.

Great hike as always!!! Trail is a bit difficult to follow on the way up but not too bad. The way down is a bit tough due to the loose gravel! Excellent views at the top nonetheless!!!

Great area, plenty of parking, marked trails, picnic benches and bathrooms. We took our 3 year old and he was able to do the whole trail without any issues.

Nice and easy hike, pretty views. Great for bird watching

This was a great hike, this hike will take you 2000 feet straight up Blodget Peak, this is very challenging and difficult. The terrain is loose rocky on the side of a mountain!! The view is amazing of Colorado Springs. This hike is not for beginners in any way.

This is legit hike, a justified hard rating. Has elements of scrambling as well depending on how closely you follow the trail up. I’d recommend earlier in the day before it gets hot as you get higher up you have less cover and more rock. A great hike for being in town. I wouldn’t recommend it for little kids or dogs. I’m glad I didn’t have to carry my little one up in a back pack

Really great trail for the whole family. Everyone smiled, everyone worked, and everyone was hungry when it was over. We'll definitely be back.

Never saw a waterfall, but it was a great hike. The kids enjoyed dipping their feet in the water and looking for crawfish. Yes, crawfish. Good length for a family and enough shade to take the edge off the heat.

I didn’t expect to hike to the top but we did (Hubby and I), yay! For our very first time, unplanned, with rain and hail we made it. Going down was more difficult simply because of the softened gravel and rocks.

Loved every bit of it though.

Beautiful views

fun and challenging, fairly steep in sections. I went up the boulder field and up the face. Very cool section. turns out there is another way from what I was told on the way down. stay to the left of the boulder field to summit.

I love this whole place. I usually like to enter on the north side as it is much less crowded than the East. I've done all the trails and recommend them for all skill levels.

we hiked the L trail to the K trail making a loop. I'm pregnant and haven't hiked since last year. but I reached my limit and had to get out. this was an easy hike with short uphill portions towards the end that were just enough to make me breath a bit heavier but not wind me. There was plenty of shade and resting places and amazing views. We even saw lizards and snakes and many birds. there were spots by the creek with large boulders to cross over but they were absolutely manageable. my 6 and 8 year old handled the hike very well. we saw many other children and people of all ages managing fine. next time we will start on the K trail go view the dam and then back track to the l trail.

85 degrees mild weather but 70% shade helped me from overheat. I was going to give 5 stars but changed my mind to 4 because the map was messed up. There was no way to get on Flow Dog trail after I got on trail 715. I had to go around and use alternate trail but I made it back. Not crowded at all, maybe ran into 6 bikers and 5 hikers all total during my 3.5 hour hike. Beautiful wild flowers, I enjoyed the view so much. Have fun!

It’s a good hike, great views, sadly no shade, wear a hat. It’s rocky at the top and views of Pikes Peak are amazing! Enjoy, not hard at all.

It’s a fun hike close to town. The trail isn’t well defined in spots. The loose scree is miserable climbing down. Be very careful. Had to slide on my butt in places to get down.

Great training hike! You get the miserable scree of 14ers with the crazy incline, and don't have to be at altitude.
The trail is pretty steep on loose rock, not a good trail for kids.

Easy trail with nice views. No shade whatsoever.

Not worth it for the miserable steep rock scree the entire way. There were also swarms of gnats at the peak. Nice views but we couldn’t even stand to stay up there because of the gnats. It is very steep the entire way, which is fine but the slippery rock scree almost the entire hike makes this slow, annoying and dangerous. There are so many options for good hikes in the area and in my opinion, Blodgett Peak is just not worth it.

Beautiful open area with views of the hills and rock formations. So many wild flowers. This is a very easy trail, would not call this moderate. You go in and out of shade, which is nice.

very steep and loose. good local trail though. I forgot my hiking poles. fell a few times, didn't make it to the top but will try again with poles and without the dog.

Look out for rattlesnakes! Other than that this is a great hike if you’re wanting a challenge or are training for something bigger.

Beautiful area. Easy hike.

Pretty fun trail for people who like a little challenge and adventure. The trail is not always obvious or clearly marked, so you may wonder a little bit. Also, the incline can sometimes be steep. This is also what makes it so fun and memorable!

Pretty cool. Amazing flowers and views.
