Peaceful but the trail is a bit confusing at times ! Looking at the lake at sunset gives you an amazing reflection !

Very difficult but so worth it! You’ll think that you’re there and then realize there’s more a lot of times throughout the hike! The falls were beautiful! Lots of different terrain. This was our FAVORITE hike we did out of all the hard trials we did. Very peaceful and not many people on the trail the further you go up. The views are stunning at the top !!

HikingGreat!

Excellent trail last 500 feet 45 feet grade but no problem. Beautiful view at the end Mt. Rainer and it’s west side glacier glacier. Comet falls is a series of waterfalls starting up top with the big waterfall.

This has been the most beautiful hike I’ve been on. It’s hard work getting up to Mildred Point but the view up there is magical. Highly recommend on a sunny day so you can see Mt. Rainier summit.

Such a beautiful hike and great for kids! You can easily drive to both locations (reflection lake and narada falls) but the hike between was easy and very much worth the extra scenery and layers of mini waterfalls

HikingGreat!

Beautiful hike if you are limited on days in the park but want killer views (going all the way to Mildred's point). Beautiful waterfalls along the way, Comet Falls is breathtaking. as others have mentioned, the last 0.5 miles to Mildred's point is a super steep and hard but so so so so worth it. We saw a far amount of people...mostly going to the falls, but a few making the whole trek. We went when it was raining, cloudy, and damp. Luckily, when we reached the top it cleared a bit and you could see Mt. Rainer. i would say this hike is not as kid friendly, many rocky steep parts. Definitely a 5 Star.

Save this one for a clear day and you will be delighted. There are quite a few waterfalls along the way, but Comet is the highlight. Once you reach Comet, keep going up, up, up, and eventually you will come across a sign that will direct you toward Mildred Point. The meadows along the way are breathtaking. The last half mile entails climbing a trenchy hill with lots of loose dirt. It’s a challenge, but the view is worth it. It seems as though one is close enough to reach out and touch Rainier. If you are lucky, you will see pikas, marmots, black-tailed deer, and goats along the way. ~ Sherry

The trail is mostly through the trees with occasional views of Mount Rainier. The view from Faraway rock is spectacular. There were tons of huckleberry bushes with lots of berries. It is the very tail end of the wildflower season.

Hiking

Simple stroll on a well maintained path that has 2 good viewpoints. Parked at the Narada Falls and then hiked to Reflection Lake and back. Overall this was a moderate/easy hike. Reflection lake was cool, but it was windy so there was no reflection of Mt Rainier on the lake this time. Paths were well marked.

Very nice hike with some pretty decent hills! The view of Narada Falls is nice but you can also just park near the falls and walk down a bit to see them. Reflection Lake is gorgeous but, unfortunately, it was a little cloudy today which affected the view.
