A fun place to visit for a little while. We were down for vacation and planned to hike for a change from the beach life. Glad we did. Yes, there were spiders and lizards, but nothing unmanageable. It was great to see a different side of Florida. (Hiked: May/2015)

nice little loop trail, not a in and out trail and not maintained the best

Easy walk on a boardwalk. Perfect if you have a stroller like we did.

I've been here several times. The first couple miles can be pretty wet but the stretch along the bay is beautiful with scrub oaks, Spanish moss and Palmetto. Great beach spots too. Last fall there was a lot of trail maintenance done, widening the interior trails and spurs.

I just called the park to see what time they close today and was informed the park has been closed for two months due to the hurricane. But they will reopen as soon as they regain power and clear a lot of downed trees. I would call the park before planning a trip to the caves

Lovely and quiet. Almost no one there on a beautiful "fall"weather day! Boardwalk is awesome for kids and adults alike for an easy stroll. Not many birds or other wildlife but we still loved it. Some boards are in disrepair so watch your steps, and some shady areas were somewhat slick from mildew build up on them.

Loved this trail, was quick and scenic. The river was beautiful, you can hear it from the trail before seeing it.

great walk

This was a very laid back sort of hike. 72°all day walkin thru a wide path with great views of Perdido Bay.

Great trails if you could focus on nature and the hike itself, but instead you have to stare at the ground and pick every step around dog shit.

Great for hiking and biking. Beautiful trails and scenery!

Fun trail to bike, or if you want to bird walking is best. It houses some excellent spots for birding, especially during migration. Armadillos and snakes are also commonly seen - very cool.

A nice boardwalk. Easy access and an easy walk. Nice for kids to run on. Don’t forget to look over the rails for turtles

Great trail. Beautiful scenery. Excellent for birding and/or walking your dog. Don’t forget to check out the 2 mile loop on the opposite side of the road. It’s a nice grassy trail with plenty of pitcher plants to admire.

This one never gets old. I grew up doing this trail and it still interests me every time. Amazing historical sight.

Amazing beauty all around good hike & optional trails down & up from waters edge give it more optional challenge

Really enjoyed this hike. Nice scenery, easy walk, and mostly shaded during the afternoons. All together I was able to get 3.5 miles. I plan on doing the loop soon, crossing over Hwy 98 and looping back. This trail beats the treadmill for sure

great for experiencing the many hidden gems of Florida. The cavern and the information, the history behind the caver was extremely enjoyable and amazing. The hiking offers a great deal of relaxation while enjoying the scenery. We where able to spot two deers along the way. Definitely a great way to spent a Saturday morning family outing.

Beautiful place to visit, a lot of cool things to see while learning. Worth going! Loads of walking so bring water and wear comfortable shoes and clothing. My husband, child and I went and we spent the whole day walking and exploring.

great tour for families with a couple of easy trails to go with the cave tour! plus swimming at blue hole!

Very easy trail until the last 1/4 mile or so, then you are walking through beach sand the rest of the way. Totally worth it thought because you end at a stretch of beach that is mostly deserted. Great place to visit if you are in the Gulf Shores area and want to escape the crowded public beaches.

Easy gravel trails with a little sand. Lots of wild life with a mix of views of the ICW and on the other side the Gulf. Public restrooms and water fountains long the trails

nice trail! Great Rapids!

Kid friendly, no dogs. Beautiful scenery and you end up at the beach! One of my favorites. When I take my little one, this is usually where we go.

This place is worth the $8 to take the guided tour. It’s back story is very interesting and the formations are beautiful.

spiders galore!

This trail isn’t for me, but my 3-year-old loved it.

Went during August... lots of spiders!!
