One of my favorite trails, great for dogs. Longer hike with an incline towards the end that could be challenging to some. Absolutely beautiful.

Beautiful trail, though it’s not marked well. towards the beginning of the hike is a river crossing so you’re most likely to get wet, tho it’s worth it. Wouldn’t recommend small children nor dogs that have to be on a leash (could be dangerous for you going down to the waterfall also there’s no railing that keeps you/them from falling).

As of April 21, the trilium is out in great numbers. Solomon seal should start blooming in the next day or two. Iris, wild geranium, wild yam are all out in abundance. Do the trail starting at the left trailhead, away from the fish hatchery, going clockwise. On the downhill stretch, you definitely need to pay attention to avoid losing the trail.

great trail!

Great hike with nice waterfalls on thexway you can climb down to. Trail down to narrows isnt that bad. Took my 8 and 11 year olds and they did great-kids are better climbers than adults. Lots of ropes, I led so they would fall on me but really would just slide into a tree. Way up was fun climb. Took about 15 minutes down and 10 minutes back up. Tons to explore in narrows and trail is much easier.

Absolutely stunning waterfall to look forward to at the end! Very strenuous hike, however. Completely uphill, with tons of rocks and roots to watch for. Entirely worth the work to see the falls, though! :)

This is a great hike! The leaves aren't on the tress yet so you get some awesome views that won't be there in the Summer. Definitely a heart pumper and several rock gardens along the way. The views from the top are incredible and well worth the hike.

The wildflowers were beautiful and loved the fact it stays so close to the river

East going trail ideal for older folks who may be unused to hiking. Can be longish for them. Hiking poles useful for traversing rooted areas. Wild flowers and birds.

A bit too much for younger children. The falls is beautiful and worth the hike.

really fun trail, our 6 year old had a pretty easy time. kid friendly!

Loved this hike! The wildflowers are in full bloom. Hike down to the narrows was fun. Wish I would have brought a lunch to hang out for longer!

Beautiful trail, but not well marked. We actually thought we are doing little Bradley Falls, which is on the other side of the road. It was about 1/2 way In we realized otherwise. We did the steep climb with ropes which was intense, water was too high to get a great view of the falls, but it is fun for someone in great shape and into adventures.

Great trail! I would strongly recommend to go clockwise and to do the John Rock side trail. The best views come from here.

gorgeous hike and falls, but when they say strenuous they aren't kidding around.

Very steep and difficult about halfway into the trail but worth it! Falls were absolutely beautiful. Great place to swim

I love this trail. It has lots of pretty streams with little bridges over them. Those were slightly challenging for our dogs, but definitely doable. There are clean bathrooms at the entrance. The forest is beautiful and this trail doesn’t seem as crowded as some others in the area. The view at the top was pretty.

Not well marked which is usually fine but there are lots of side trails and it gets confusing. Would not recommend dogs or small kids.

Definitely understand-estimated this trail. I brought ppl with me that usually don’t hike (son & husband). I told them since y’all don’t hike we will go on a short trail. Haha jokes on me this trail made me look like a hmmm...You start out uphill and it continues that way. I can’t tell how many times I stopped or wanted to turn back. BUT I couldn’t quit! I knew it would be worth it when we reached the top and of course it was!! The falls were so beautiful and refreshing!!! Coming down was much easier for sure. I will definitely try it again soon.

Nice hike, wish there were more blazes, but luckily I had a map! John Rock has a really cool overlook should touch follow that trail!

MAKE SURE YOUR DIRECTIONS ARE CLEAR! We followed the GPS directions (from the All Trails app) and never found the trailhead or anything. We really wanted to hike it but we gave up after driving around lost for about 30 mins. We would like to try again sometime though.

loved this trail! we had a great time despite it being overcast and rainy. It's definitely a moderate hike, we went uphill for 2 miles. Not crazy steep but we were still huffing by the end.

Very good hike, trail was muddy in spots but otherwise well kept. Crossed over a lot of water but didn’t see any waterfalls.

Was not expecting the beauty of that waterfall! The rest of the hike is easy getting there, but when you start that descent to the falls it’s a whole other story. The ropes are useful, definitely take advantage of them. There were quite a few people on the trail including families with children, not a trail for all kids-those kids were beasts! The falls were well worth the heavy breathing!

Strenuous but totally worth it. The falls are beautiful

Uphill battle to reach the falls but they are amazing and well worth the trip! plus it's all downhill from there.

Hiked this trail on a cool early March afternoon. The temp peaked at 42. Even thought there was lots of rain recently, the trail was mostly dry, views were excellent (through the trees), and we were sheltered from the early March winds. There's a bit of elevation change, slow and steady, nothing crazy. Our dogs had a great time too.

Nice trail but needs more blazes.

Nice hike but the trail needs more blazes.

Nice hike!
