One of the coolest trails on the East Coast. Beautiful views of the rocky shores and water along the way. There are amazing houses/ buildings to look at on the other side. Very well maintained. The beach at the end is so perfect with clear water and pretty wildflowers. Took us a little over 3 hours.

A wonderful history lesson surrounded by the beauty of Concord. Where it all began. Very sentimental. It was an honor to walk in the steps of the minute men and I enjoyed all of the detailed signs pointing out everything. Lovely bridge with birds landing and making for a great picture by the lake. Enjoyable! Not difficult at all. Nice flat surfaces mostly.

This place has a lot to offer. Great history. Just knowing this is a key cog in the greater Boston waterworks operations is cool. The wind was blowing today and the spillway was a spill'in. It was magnifique! Loved the little side hikes up into the hills. Will see if I can hike thru the abandoned train tunnel next time! Spooky! Enjoy.

Beautiful trail. It was moderately busy but it is to be expected at the start of a holiday weekend. Loved being surrounded by all the history.

I am in recovery from a broken leg and ACL surgery. I was happy I wore my knee brace for this hike. Getting up was no problem, took 40 minutes with stopping a few times to let other people who were faster go by. I was a little more cautious going down and used poles. It rained a lot during the week so most of trail was mud and the rocks were wet. The Mountain House Trail was labeled very well.

Great walk. the south end of it does get slightly tricky so wear good sneakers. I started from the middle went north then did the entire length of the trail. it took me about 3 hours. but I did stop at the University there and walked the campus which was maybe 30 mins. I would definitely do it again

Love it! Parking can be a bit of a hassle for busy days but a wonderful area!

I love this path! It’s my go to when I want to walk outside. There can be a lot of people but the ocean views make it worth it.

Great hike! Take water if a hot day, and maybe call an uber driver to take you back to start.

Really easy 3-mile loop with several spots for shore access. I enjoy taking a book out on the rocks and enjoying the summer breeze. Great for birding.

I've hiked this trail several times but never hiked the entire length of the trail. It is incredibly scenic esp at the point at Ocean Avenue where all the mansions are.

This trail is one of my favorite destination in Rhode Island. The ocean shore view from this trail is absolutely breathtaking esp on the eastern side of ocean view loop trail. The various observation platform is great as well but I like just to get down to the beach and walk along the rocky beach as well.

Great hike! We started south and ended north. Not many fellow hikers at the start but by the end (closer to the north entrance) it got more crowded.

love it. third time here.

One of my favorite destination whenever I am in the city. The Longfellow bridge has been renovated now so it's a nice scenic river walk. I enjoyed the Charles River Esplanade area the most and there is a nice children's playground that kids will enjoy. I also enjoy watching all the sail boats on the Charles River and all the busy tour duck boats.

The sunset from here is absolutely spectacular as I've seen it many times. The Storrow Drive side is definitely the more scenic side but the Memorial Drive side is pretty good as well. In the evening, you will generally find plenty of photographers doing long exposure photography of Boston's skyline.

Nice easy walk, beautiful area. Was there on a Saturday and it wasn't too crowded. People were nice and courteous. It was fun to learn as we walked! Brought my pup with me but kept him on leash, he had fun exploring the trail as well. Will definitely be back again.

Favorite place to walk!!! The views are amazing!!!! I go a few times a week. Really enjoy it, and relaxing.

Warblers and sea birds so come early and bring your binoculars! Also excellent place for those who like to watch butterflies. Gorgeous sea views top it off.

I love this spot! A beautiful trail that great for anyone. Gorgeous views!

This is a good Family Trail due to its length and the fact that it is heavily trafficked. The best parking I found was at the trail head in Slater’s Memorial Park, near the baseball field. Nice partial views of the river along the way and only one road crossing. Bonus: Slater Memorial Park, which has an amazing playground, paddle boats to rent, Looff Carousel and much more! The three star rating is for the trail only.

Beautiful views and well kept trails with access to the ocean and benches along the way if to take in the view.

Please wear long pants, hiking boots, long sleeves, and a hat to protect from ticks; dressed appropriately and two buggers still tried to use me as a food source.
