Awesome trail. Moderate terrain with some steep sections - beautiful views. About 1foot of snow on ground when we were there - but well packed from other hikers.

Beautiful hike only minutes away from Peggy’s Cove. Only room for parking 4-5 cars and the trail isn’t marked from the road. You just have to look where there’s other cars pulled off to know where it is. Otherwise you can park along the road if the small pull-off is full. Parts of the trail are sometimes muddy - chose footwear appropriately. In the summer this trail is extremely busy with both tourists and locals alike. Note: inland the temperature will be 10 degrees warmer than the Peggy’s Cove area (typically anyway). It would be good to check the weather and wind speeds before you head down to this trail. There are lots of good places to have a picnic on this trail. There are also remnants of war bunkers to take a look at. The trail has several off trails and you could explore for ever. This trail is directly on the ocean. Best day to do this trail is on a sunny day, as you will get the most beautiful green-blue reflections from the water in any pictures you take. There are extremely steep parts and scaling up and down some large rocks. Do not wear sandals like some unknowing people do. Also... don’t be one of those people to go down on the black rocks...unless you want to die of course. This doesn’t just apply to Peggy’s Cove.. anywhere along the ocean. These rocks mean a wave can come out of nowhere and sweep you under and take you out in a rip tide. Do not let your kids or animals attempt to swim here either. The trail is good to hike with dogs on but there maybe be parts you need to help them along with (or turn and go back the way you came). This is a trail I would do more than once for sure.

Went in mid- November. Trail still good but a bit muddy. Definitely need sturdy boots- lots of rocks and uneven terrain. Coastline views are spectacular. Well worth it.

one of the best hikes I've ever done. Beautiful.

Beautiful ride

A nice walk with an amazing view for almost all the way. although it is a short trail, there are tons of foot paths to be explored, you could spend days doing it. if you don't mind pulling up a rock it is a lovely spot of a picnic. the oven and rock features make it an amazing place for photos, scenery painting or insperation. Definitely a place I will keep going back to!

Incredible and unique coastal views. Paths were slightly wet but generally very easy.

This is one of my favourite trails in Nova Scotia. A good challenge, nice features, beautiful views. It is near Wolfville, so pick up a light lunch or enjoy a great dinner.

A gorgeous hike right on the ocean - highly recommended!

Finding the trail head wasn't too difficult however, there isn't a lot of parking and if you are driving too quickly you may miss it. Otherwise, this is a beautiful oceanside trail with magnificent vistas and a lovely distance view of Peggy's Cove and the lighthouse to the west.

Very busy trail and easy to walk past the trailhead. Aside from that this is an easy trail for anyone to walk and the views are absolutely amazing. We saw seals wading in the surf the day we were there. There's lots to explore here so make sure you have a lot of time!

definitely my favorite coastal trail with lots of elements, you will never get bored aha!

Not a whole lot to see. Trail is poorly marked, but is a moderately easy walk out and back.

hiked it today really enjoyed the scenery, the only thing I would say is wear good hiking boots as there ate alot of rooots which makes it easy to twist an ankle

This is one of our favorite hikes.Views are amazing and variety of terrain just right

Tiny parking lot with room for 4 or 5 cars, if you're driving west and pass Peggy's Cove you've gone too far! Great alternative to the crowds at Peggy's Cove. Beautiful oceanside walk. Dog friendly. Very sunny trail, not much shade. Easy footing.

Easy, heavily used trail with great views of the rugged coastline. We were lucky enough to see 10 to 12 seals playing in the surf breaking around several rocky islands just offshore. Private property so be respectful. It's also a nature preserve so minimize your impact!

If you want a workout go elsewhere. Not much of a hike but the scenery is nice.

Stunning! Beautiful views and flowers. Easy to miss the small parking lots but you may see cars parked along the road. :)

My favourite hike. Beautiful views and lots of opportunity for adventure.

Did Borden Brook Trail from lower parking lot on to Woodlawn Trail up to Look Off then back on Jodrey to lower parking lot in 4 hours. Nice the whole way through but last half hour practically all downhill and can be hard on the knees.

Good hike for kids! awesome views and less busy then Peggy' s cove!

My first time walking this this trail What a great view and no crowds !! Paths were pretty easy to follow and it was great place to walk the dog

Fantastic hike! Highly recommended... Bring your camera!

Despite the innocuous car park and entrance that resembles a gated-off gravel road, this is actually a beautiful woodland trail along a series of lakes. I walked roughly a third of it (just around the first lake) as a half-hour rest in the middle of a long day of driving, and though my group picked it due to its proximity to the road, it turned out to be an enjoyable stroll along dirt-and-soil paths with a few gentle slopes (though we didn't see a single bird).

Great hike! Beautiful views all the way, gorgeous fauna and lots of places to stop and let the dogs have some water. Loved the variation of trail from open flat rocks to short steep stints to deep forest and windy trails through lush plant life. Our dogs had no problem with this hike, just took it slow to allow for breaks and water. 3 hrs round trip with our breaks.

Great hike on a well marked trail. Great views.

Fantastic scenery! No direct path so you get the opportunity to explore the rocks.

Beautiful spot for an afternoon hike. I went when it was quite foggy, but the cliffs still provided amazing scenery. The main path is quite easy, but I went off the main path in some parts to walk up some of the rock. I would recommend waterproof hikers because there are a few spots on the main trail that can be quite muddy. Lots of rocky spots to stop and eat lunch with a view of the ocean. The trail isn’t marked so you many need gps to find the start of the trail.
