Lower Creek cabin is great. Bring wood, stove and lantern.
Nice and flat
Awesome trail, watch for mushers
Good afternoon workout ski.
I went in late October and it's absolutely beautiful! The trail was easy and simple, just follow the gps and you'll find the entrance. I was a little confused at first on how to find it
Very lovely easy going trail. Easy to follow, and great for those with toddlers. Very nice and open, river view was beautiful. Great hike for beginners or those looking for a casual stroll on the smaller loop. Our family loved it. We went with our 3 and 5 year old, and both just ran and giggled the entire time. Quiet, and our dog enjoyed the wide fields and trails.
Easy stroll. Quiet and peaceful. Beavers playing in the water. A wonderful way to pass a couple hours on a clear afternoon.
Very well maintained trail, great distance, would recommend for anyone looking for a nice scenic walk but isn’t too strenuous
Nice fall walk! Easy for a family with small children!!
Great short hike. While walking, my wife and I saw a beaver.
Boots are a must when hiking this trail. Pack plenty of water & food. Extremely muddy on most of the trail. Some dry spots. At the summit on a clear day you can see for miles. Great hike
it is a good beginners trail. It helps gage how in shape you are to do the 10 miles. However there's nothing at the end of the trail except a cabin. you don't get access to the creak. I had fun but its not one for scenery.
great views, the terrain would have stopped lesser men for sure
Beautiful scenery but the mosquitoes made it much more difficult to enjoy. We liberally sprayed ourselves but still couldn’t manage to stop for more than 3 seconds without being swarmed. Would recommend for colder weather or if you plan on going at a quick pace with no stops.
Trail conditions for the first mile were great but there are a few muddy spots in the flats. Once you start going up the summit it dries up a bit.
super pretty place but it can very tiring if you're a beginner.
Quite a bit muddy in spots but easy to walk around without getting your feet wet, definitely wear boots though. Follow the little trail to the left that leads up to Wickersham Dome for the views. it's only about 6.20mi there and back. Breathtaking views at the top
Fist mile or so was beautiful next to the river and then we were swarmed by bugs constantly. We had sprayed ourselves down and our dogs. No stopping on the trail or you’d be covered in bugs! Me and my dog are covered in bug bites. Won’t be doing this one again.
