It’s a beautiful overlook. Steeper than you think but short. There’s street parking at the trailhead.

Very nice hike. The views are incredible. And to have the stream right along the trail was awesome! Will definitely do this hike again

good short hike and very nice falls.

did this hike last weekend. never found the falls but still a very fun hike.

Was making my way home down LCC and figured I’d take the scenic route, giddy up buttercup. Glad no one was out and about on the trail as I was cooking pretty good. Plenty of hopping action, hang on tight if you’re on the hardtail. Yew

Other reviewer is correct..pic of lake for this trail is not correct so don't go just to see a lake.... don't think there is one there. There is a river, some small bridges that cross it, and you get to do a hike that spreads the elevation change(1300+ ft) out across a longer distance so it makes it easier which is pretty cool. I think I actually liked two other things the most...the old broken down stone chapel(I think that's what it is)at the end and the metal contraption thing that everybody has pictures of on here that is powered by water. Despite watching it for 10 straight minutes I have no idea what the heck it's purpose was....but it was fascinating!! Oh..and as a geocacher I need to point out that I found one out there. Have a good one and enjoy the hike if you go!!!! Oh....watch out for the mountain bikers as they come down the trail....they were all really nice and said thanks when I stopped and got to the side, but if some of them hit me going as fast as they were there might not be anything left of me....it looked really fun.....I have gotta try it some day if I can.

Muy bueno para empezar senderismo

A bit short, but the view is fantastic.

Short. Easy with kids. Beautiful.

I've been hiking this trail for years and i love it.

My favorite so far! Very nice!

Great for kids an goes straight up till the waterfalls

This is a really fun quick adventure with kids.

My 8 year old son loved climbing through the waterfall to the upper falls. I thought this hike would be too crowded to be much fun, but it was actually pretty awesome despite all the people at the bottom.

Easy getting to the falls. A little more difficult if you climb up the face of the falls to where the water is coming off the mountain, but still doable. great adventure for kids!

Not bad hike to gain some elevation to watch the sunrise

Beautiful views with shaded climbing and a nice little river. More difficult coming down as there is a lot of loose gravel.

Good but hard hike to the top, nice view from the top

Definitely a steady climb. I always thought there was just one water fall because I always stopped down at the base and hung out then went back down. Today I kept going up past the waterfall and discovered more falls. The trail does continue to climb. we stopped at the area where it forks off to either Curly Springs or Dry Creek. The sign said only 1.3 miles from the Kiwanis park (where the parking lot was) felt like we went further. The hike was gorgeous and past the falls there was an occasional person or people hiking but for the majority of the time we were alone.

Love this trail, beautiful all the way to the final destination, many places to stop and explore. One thing to be cautious of is bikers!! There are so many.

I had a few issues with this trail. It was decently marked, but not too well. I definitely made some wrong turns and luckily realized before I'd gotten too far. Plus, that waterfall was hardly a trickle and I ate lunch next to it thinking there's no way it's that small. It was. The other views were absolutely stunning and the trek was actually easier than I expected, since we passed several "more difficult" signs. I'll probably come up here again, but not for this trail.

Popular hike- the parking lot was essentially full around 9am on Saturday. Trail mostly shaded so could have even come later in the day. It's a short hike to the main waterfall, but there are more waterfalls to be seen if you keep going on the trail.

Great trail- narrow in spots- watch for mountain bikers who are coming down- most are careful but i have had some close calls in narrow bends with mnt bikers- yesterday was almost hit by one who came around a blind curve speeding down the trail- they should consider a bell

Not too bad for a first walk in UT.
Traveled the route and ended up a steep rocky area (too steep for me for as of now).
You can continue walking (paved path), it’s just surrounded by trees and a river on the right for maybe 3 more miles.

Nice shaded hike with beautiful waterfalls

Super easy hike for the family and for your little ones. People bring their dogs on the trail and leave theirs dogs “mess” so watch for that. But fun and very popular.

This is a lovely trail. Show up before nine - it gets busy. The easiest way up to the falls is after the sign with "this is the right trail" written in sharpie. Walk a little further down the paved path and you'll find the less rocky/slippery trail.
The waterfall is gorgeous, surrounded by stair rocks that are relatively easy to climb. Had two pre-teens with us, and saw a few younger children on the trail with their grandparents.

rockclimbing might be the main reason to use this trail. shaded in the middle, at the start and overlook isn't very shaded. there are too many cut offs it's hard to follow the actual trail.

nice short boardwalk adventure, recommend going early morning or evening, middle of the hot day barely any wildlife. late summer seems like the marsh waters are pretty low as well. not a lot of cover so being water and sunscreen. pavilion is awesomely built.
