Nice hike , haven’t hiked for about a year and it wasn’t bad.

Great easy hike today in the misty rain. The poplar tree is much bigger in person than in pics! Trail was great. Very beautiful area. Only about a mile hike to the tree.

Went here and I was blown away by the power that the falls have on you when you see them in person. The stairs are a challenge but they are worth it!

Walked down the trail then up the steps, both had amazing views!

It was the first time to Georgia with my girlfriend, hiking being one of my hobbies, we went here for our first hike. It was absolutely beautiful!

The trail isn’t too rigid or hard for beginner hikers (my girlfriend), so she really enjoyed it. It’s always nice to see a waterfall.

Nice weather today for the fist hike of the year. Not too many people out today. This trail is easy with a few moderate spots. Overall a good trail for people beginning hiking or for seasoned hikers as well. Not many views but a chance to see the Gennet poplar, the second largest tree in GA.

Great trail for a short afternoon hike! Just outside of Blue Ridge. The waterfall was beautiful!

Very peaceful sitting.

Loved it amazing. I went November with beautiful coloring of leaves and walked the trail then down the steps .

We did this in December, nice ridge trail. River / shallow rapids to lake with long overlook bridge and two observation decks. Some diversions available. boat launch and facilities at lake base. Nice!

What a beautiful area with trails along the Tails Creek. There were also platforms that allow close-up views of the falls and a cool footbridge that crosses the creek. It was a gorgeous day in Georgia and we had a wonderful time.

Easy trail. Not too far to the falls. Lots of foot traffic on a nice fall day.

be prepared to go up alot of steps. beautiful falls . crazy busy

It was damp, but to us it was a fairly easy trail. There is some incline walking, and normal roots and rocks. Lots of fallen leaves right now so that could be a little tricky. Nothing dangerous or scary. Really pretty cascading rapids to see from an overlook, and a nice bridge.

Fun trail

We went the wrong way up by mistake but it was a good choice. Trail is not easy but was fun. The view from the top is a great panoramic one. The view of the falls from the bottom of the steps was the best. Great day.

My wife, almost 4 year old and I enjoyed this little walk. It was perfect for them both. Wet, slippery and a bit muddy but the views were beautiful and the light walk was just what we needed.

Took the AT approach trail to walk the steps up. The steps are not for the faint of heart. The views of the falls on the way up are great. And at the top is awesome. Took the East trail on the way back down. Very rocky at the top. Watch your footing so as to not roll an ankle. The trail itself is nice, wooded.

This trail has some very nice views. The view of the falls and the water is nice, as is the sight of the sun filtering through the trees. It's not long, but it is a bit steeper. There are numerous roots on the ground, so make sure to watch your step. The path is a bit narrow, and it can be a bit of a drop if you slip off. The water keeps everything damp and somewhat wet, and there are a few particularly steep sections that may be unstable. I fell just before the first overlook because the ground was muddy and gave way despite it not having rained there in a few days. Despite that, it is a very nice trip, and the bridge is fantastic.

gorgeous waterfall!, took creek trail up and and it wasn't a bad hike at all. going down we went down east ridge trail which was pretty sketchy. lots of loose rocks and erosion. I would def do this again...

very busy trail, not particularly my favorite. it is short enough and worth seeing one time. Good for kids.

Awesome trail! Steps were a good workout. Beautiful views of the falls. Not that crowded of a trail. Very rocky in some places so watch your step!

Fun quick trail to Waterfall with my Wife.

Trail starting behind the visitors center to the falls is the best direction to take due to the condition of the trail and rocks.

Great trail with many families along the way. Just be aware that their road getting to the trail is a bit one-way, so if you have a larger vehicle you may need to pull over at times for oncoming traffic

Nice short trail with beautiful views. Careful of the rock and roots everywhere on the trail

Loved this trail. Parked at the visitors center and took the trail behind it, up to the top of the falls. It was a very steep climb and very rocky in some parts. There were a couple of lookout points along the way that offered spectacular views of the surrounding area. You can’t see the falls from the top, so we decided to take the hundreds of steps down to the base. The stairs wrap around the falls and the view gets better as you go down. There are many spots to stop and rest or take pics. The stairs can be a bit daunting for someone who has a fear of heights, such as myself. However, it was absolutely worth it! Once at the bottom, we walked back to the parking lot. The signage was not the best and we ended up street walking for a good portion. There were some trails marked, but we weren’t sure where they would end. Overall, Im so glad that we visited.

I absolutely loved this trail! We did it at dusk, which was probably a bad choice considering how steep it is, but it was lovely anyways. Plus we got to catch the sunset. Other reviewers are right about the stairs. They can be brutal. But the views are so, so worth it.

Great family trail, our 10 and 12 year old girls loved it.
