First to ReviewI did the hike in December, usually it's best to do the hikes in Saint Catherine city by night along with the local guides of course. You can't do much hikes in Saint Catherine without a local guide. However it's best to do a night hike to reach the sunrise and witness a great sunrise along with an amazing view of other visible mountains such as Mount Sinai. The Mount Of Jabal Abass itself is a remain of what was suppose to be a palace for Abbas Pasha. So you can find lots of walls made of white rocks. The mount is big and can take as much people as you want. The trail is easy and mostly inclined and some before reaching the end its a must to have a guide to show u the way to the mount. There are Network availability on the mount and data as well os working fine. I'm commenting on the 2nd part of the trail which is Um El Saad and that is suppose to be a rest point for one of the Locals women in this place called "Haja Amreia" she own the place.
