First hike we did on isle of skye: it rained and wind at 12 C late June but still a most memorable hike in outstanding landscape!! I would go back tomorrow !

I only did part about an hour until fence
I dream of going back and complete the loop. The quiraing is magnificent!!

Easy trail. Fantastic views of the viaduct and loch. Loop directions are a little vague.

One of the iconic Isle of Skye hikes, takes 1-2 hours. We hiked late September (slightly off season) just after a few days of rain, so the trail was very muddy and wet. Parking was a challenge in the small lot, but overflow parking along the road is available. We started with the first left branch that meandered a gentler climb than the straight up direct path. A good moderate hike with the climb made more challenging with the billy-goating to jump and navigate the mud. Excellent views of the mountains and shoreline with the pinnacles of the Old Man of Storr himself the main attraction. A great stop along the Isle of Skye route from Kilt Rock and Mealt Falls, the Old Man of Storr and the Quiraing Circuit. Note the driving gets down to a one lance dance with oncoming traffic that is a fun treat to experience - a Scotland must!

If you are looking for epic Isle of Skye views … the Quiraing will deliver (from both trails above and below)! We hiked this late September and the ground was sopping wet. We began with the climb portion of the trail deciding to slightly off-road from the trail as it was extremely mucky and hard to climb. With the scrub and moss running with water, it wasn't much easier, but without the mud. The climb wasn't too arduous and a nice (wet) walk across the summit to the mid point where the descent begins. A much drier trail on the return portion amongst the rocks below the cliff face. Everywhere delivered stunning landscape views that made you stop and take in the sights. A busy enough trafficked trail, but there was lots of space not to feel crowded. Worth the effort!

Absolutely stunning. We got there really early to beat the crowds, and beat them we did—it was so worth it to see the sun rise over the Quairaing landscape. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything so beautiful, and to top it off, it started drizzling a little and so we got a double rainbow too.

Signage was somewhat lacking; we accidentally continued past the circuit and were on the path down to Flodigarry before we realized we’d gone astray (one downside to being alone on the trial). If you find yourself stepping over a livestock fence, then you’ve gone too far. Also, beware of sheep poop.

I wish I could have finished it, but way too windy and rainy at the top that day !

Gorgeous views, a must if you’re a fan of Harry Potter. The parking can be a bit tricky in this area, even in shoulder season.

Great trail with a good quick elevation climb. The weather can change quickly and conditions can be challenging when this happens. Be prepared for sleet, snow, fog, or if you’re lucky, a fantastic view. Definitely worth your time.

Awesome! Breathtakingly gorgeous views at the summit!

Beautiful walk down Edinburgh’s Royal Mile! Amazing architecture all the way!

Short, beautiful trail that we spent hours exploring! Peppered with multiple lovely waterfalls and rocks. Spellbindingly clear water with many different colors of rocks creates a fanciful atmosphere. Lots of people, not super easy to find the trailhead. Also, a little bit boggy--at once point my whole foot appeared to be below the grass!

We did the route that takes you all the way round and it was awesome, my sons first walk. be carful if going to the top make sure you have a clear day it’s dangerous if the cloud comes in. Great walk.

great!

One of the most breathtaking hikes ever. Push through and do the whole loop. Many turn back because the trail is not well marked, but the backside is amazing. Having AllTrails made the difference. We always knew where we were.

This was a breathtaking hike. The best way to describe it is a hybrid between a walk up to the Jedi temple and a scene from the Lord of the Rings. My boyfriend and I (both 28 and decently regular hikers from Colorado, USA) made it to the top of the water fall in 2:30 hours hiking at a comfortable pace. We encountered two rain showers so pack rain gear that will keep you dry enough. We made it with just wind breakers. And don’t be scared off by the rain unless there is thunder (which we never heard). If we would have turned back at rain we would have missed 3/4 of the gorgeous hike. Amazing. Pictures do it no justice.

Wonderful trail with amazing landscapes all along the way. CCW is a better way I think. Reach the "table" site is not that easy, but when you walk between the Rocky structures and see the "needle" from top, you have a so nice feeling that you will forgot your legs!

Okay, this was on our bucket list, and very much worth the hike. We hiked less than a third of it in 2017, and brought friends with us this year 2018, to do the complete circuit. I downloaded All Trails for this hike because we did not know where we were on the hike circuit last year. All Trails made our hike so much better and we were always aware where we were, and pushed through. Checked that box. It was absolutely beautiful, and well worth the time and effort., but coming down is not a moderate hike. it Is very difficult. Proper gear is needed, such as hiking boots with ankle support.

in the lower part much midges today, but not up higher, because of the wind and rain. beautiful climbing, pretty rocky and steep. the views are beautiful even today when it was cloudy. the hike is a loop but up on the mountain difficult to find. going round is much more fun.

Very nice wieves.

crowded at first, but once you get through the first part of the trail it not as bad. very beautiful, do CCW. Seems to be much easier going down the muddy steep incline. First half is going around the rock cliffs, second half is ridge walking on the table part and then ends with the steep muddy incline where you see people going up and down. lots of bugs and cattle

did our own path, so many trails and places to explore. very beautiful. need to go early before 9 am, crowds start gathering after 10.

very crowded. can get muddy but worth the views. be careful of rock slides. we heard rocks falling from the big rock face cliff, of course people shouting wasn't helping.

did the entire loop. beautiful views

Honestly was a little disappointed with the Fairy Pools. Yes, the little waterfalls are pretty, but I was expecting to find these during a little forest hike. It's literally an open field, crawling with people.

Really enjoyed this hike. I love that their are lots of different trails so that you can see Oldman Storr from different view points. You can also wonder off the trails and do your own thing. We wondered far enough away from the others visiting Storr so that we could take our drone out. It's absolutely beautiful here. We arrived at about 1pm and the parking lot was full, but to be fair that parking lot holds maybe 10 cars. So people were parking along the road. There were also quite a few people there when we arrived, but once you get further up the path, people go their own way and it feels like you're the only one there.
