This is a dog park—there are dog feces everywhere, dogs are off leash and the trail smells like urine. We were visiting from out of town and we were unfortunate enough to stop here to stretch our legs. There is an electric transformer station in the middle of the park and you can see and hear the highway throughout the trail.

went yesterday. this is right off the road, just a few steps up the gully. it's mostly frozen over. so glad I had my spikes on. the trail right now goes right up on top of the frozen creek, so be careful on the ice. very pretty! cant wait to go back in the spring!

Nice little hike, busy. Lots of cross country and snow shoes but you don't have to have those as the snow is packed down. Parking is a bit of a nightmare.

Fun to hike with family and friends. A little steep on the way up but overall a chill hike. We were able to access it easy even in the snow because it’s used quite often.

awesome hike, very few people and amazing scenery.

One of my very favorite hikes for kids. Shaded and short, also the area right by the waterfall is shallow enough that my little kids can take their shoes off and walk around while they explore. Water can be chilly though so best on a warm day.

Pretty waterfall. Super short hike. It took me longer to cross the road at the S curve than actually hike to the falls. I went left after crossing the road and starting into the trail. I followed the footprints in the snow, and they crossed the river to the left hand side , but you can't get too close on that side, and then they went back and crossed to the right hand side and got really close to the falls. It was a little stressful crossing the snow covered stream and hoping the ice is solid underneath, but I kept using my sticks to make sure it was solid and it was pretty hard. I did a 360 degree StreetView trail here, if you want to view it, it is on Google Earth, and my blog https://www.shaunasadventures.com/2019/01/360-adventure-hidden-falls-and-mill-b.html?m=1.
It was nice to pair it with walking up Mill B trail to the picnic area for the river is so pretty and it is right there.
I have to add that even though this was a nice hike, they don't plow the parking lots so parking is stressful along the road. Also, I had to drive about 10-15 minutes up the road to finally find a safe place to turn around when I wanted to go home. I saw people stuck trying to turn around in not safe spots, and I felt so bad for them, but I was terrified of helping and getting stuck myself. Just FYI.

Hiked part of this trail from the Grandeur Peak trailhead at the Churchill campground on New Years Day. The snowy views were beautiful and with most of the trail in the sun, it was not too cold. No need for snowshoes or spikes, the trail is packed down, only icy in small spots.

This is a great little walk. The falls are easy to get to and it is a beautiful area. It is great in the summer and amazing in the winter.

Easy for families, even those with young kids.

Quarry trail parking was covered in packed down snow. Parking across the street was clear. About 3” of snow on the start of the trail, probably 4-6 at the top. You may still be okay without spikes, but I would’ve been faster if I had them with me. Great option for a regular winter hike.

Really nice little trail. Pretty much a scenic walking path that follows the path of the river. Especially nice in the fall.

I went up here with my family this summer. Only a 2-minute walk to a pretty cool waterfall. Super quick and easy, but super fun too!

Easy, short, loop with plenty of brush and trees for the dogs to sniff. Very busy so the pups will have plenty of friends to play with. Dog waste stations throughout.

Hiked at sunrise on 11/15, went counter clockwise. I would say about 85-90% of the trail was a nice snow pack and easy to walk on but there were some big snow drift spots. Didn’t have any issues with ice and slipping. Wall lake was the only lake not completely ice and snow covered. Looking forward to returning after winter.

We hiked to the suspension bridge and did the loop back to our car. The bridge looks magnificent and the hike is nice with great views. The beginning is a little steep, but then loops around and quite and easy hike from the bridge down.

Went last weekend to hike this trail. We started around 8:30/9:00. There was snow throughout the entire trail, but it wasn't too bad for the most part. Mid-way through the hike, there was some deeper snow and you lose the trail a little. But it's pretty easy to use All Trails app to find your way through this tiny part and get back on the trail. SO gorgeous this time of year! And the snow melted as the day went on - making the trail easier to see.

Short but falls were hidden so couldn’t view.

Definitely a favorite for my pup. She loves to swim at the pond/lake area at the end. One of my favorite places to explore!

awesome family trip, can do it in about an hour.

I hiked the upper portion for 1.7 miles until it comes back up to the road. Starts just below the ruins of the old Mill. Loved this trail. Very peaceful and a gradual climb to get your heart going a bit. I only saw three mountain bikers and five bikers on this trail. I think I will start at the bottom for a snow shoeing adventure this winter.

Great hike for sunset. A handful of switchbacks, then you have the option to go either left or right-ish. Keep an eye for signs, they are very easy to follow. The left-most route is flatter at first, giving you a chance to catch your breath if needed, but both ways have some decent elevation to them.

Saw some sand crickets hanging out in the path, some guys paragliding, a couple dogs, and like I said, that sunset! The bridge is cool and fun - it moves quite a bit. A nice quick hike. Could be challenging for young kids.

My husband and I and Scout dog completed this hike on October 13.

The trailhead is easy to find, but I with the trail was better marked because there are some places to turn off. We used to app to double-check where we were several times.

The trail was pleasant, part pavement part dirt, with some undulating hills. Part of the trail is an off-leash dog area, and we enjoyed seeing all the doggos enjoying their Saturday morning. There's also a stream for them to play in.

Another warning.... THERE IS POISON OAK ON THIS TRAIL. My husband and I took a little detour to check out an old bridge. On this side trail, I also peed, and chose the *WRONG* leaves to wipe with. Multiple sleepless nights and trips to urgent care later... I am writing this as a warning so nobody makes the same dumb mistake I did!

Nice trail. Very muddy right now with melted snow. A lot of downed branches across the path at the moment.

Took the dogs out for this fun hike last week. It was pretty dry out so part of the trail was really dusty but still fun. It was nice to have the variety of terrain from dirt, to wooden foot bridge crossings, to climbing rocky boulder steps. Loved having plenty of little lakes and ponds to stop at. We took the clockwise route on accident and found that it was still fun, just a little steep for the dogs at times. There were definitely no bugs out so that was a plus! Don’t forget to pay the park fee before you start exploring because we forgot and found a nice little envelope on our windshield requesting payment when we got back to the car. Oopsies!

Very challenging hike. But worth the views!

Meh, not so easy with 4 kids...

We went on this hike the first Monday in October. The weather was perfect (overcast with a chill to keep you from sweating). we went counterclockwise and found it was the best choice since the switchbacks were easier to go up than the loose rocks coming down. We only saw 4 other people on our hike and there were NO BUGS! we also saw some wildlife, including Mountain goats! overall this hike was really fun and pretty easy, even for my New England lungs. I definitely recommend taking a photo of the map since there is NO SERVICE and some unmarked splits in the path.

Fun hike for our girls. More of a quick walk but we enjoyed climbing up higher onto the falls and the beautiful colors of fall. Nice way to get away from people in a wonderful area.

Nice loop, hard at first due to the incline, but that does not last long. Well maintained trail and a cool bridge.
