Easy or Moderate, less than 3 miles Map

Lovely at sunrise!

Very easy hike with some cool rock formations that provide great picture opportunities. Completed with a 1.5 yr old and 4 yr old without difficulty.

This was a pretty easy hike! If you go in the winter or early spring, take spikes if you have them. We went two weeks ago and it was still iced over in spots. We did fine without but I’ll take them next time! Easy trail with gorgeous views!

I give this a 5 because it is close to my house in Fountain. There are parts you can walk dogs just not by the nature center. Nice flat trail easy to walk on. You can view ducks and geese in the waters.

Short, easy trail with awesome views! Wish I would’ve had clamps for the beginning part but it wasn’t necessary. Love this trail!

Really good hike, not long at all. And the beautiful waterfall makes up for the lack of views throughout it!

Beautiful view, great ride.

Great ride on the bike some good ups and downs, under-construction so main trail was kind of a pain to follow

Fun. Ended up being quicker than we thought (30 min).

Our family’s first hike after moving to the Colorado Springs area. Loved it. I carried our 1.5yo toddler on my back with minimal difficulty and for not being in great “high altitude” shape yet. 6yo daughter did great as well. Most difficult part of the hike is the loose gravel coming down, just gotta take your time. Beautiful/very windy view at the top. Look for the Visitor’s Log inside the green ammo box at the summit.

A nice place to go for a walk.. not a long walk.. but a good walk up the steps and down them.

I have hiked and birded at this park for years and it is always pleasant. Most of the flood damage from a few years ago has been repaired, but not down at the Hansen Nature area. This is a popular area for the 719rocks folks and there are some geocaches here too. Fishing at Willow Springs Ponds, a nature center, playgrounds and pavillions and now community gardens are in the works. A nice way to spend a few hours in a riparian habitat - a change of pace from the usual Colorado mountain trails.

This was a fun and pretty easy trail with numerous views along the way! I would definitely do this trail again. A little bit of snow and ice but with my spikes on my boots, easy to do and no snow toward the top!

However be careful about leaving any valuables in your car. My husband and I came back to the trailhead and a group of hikers had their car broken into and a purse/wallet stolen. It was a late afternoon on a Friday but still light out.

Easy trail and lots of wildlife out when it’s warm. It’s a great trail to go on if you have kids. My toddler loves it.

Very easy, kid friendly and marked well. Just watch the horse apples.

lovely trail, not too difficult. There was some snow and ice when I hiked it; trekking poles helped me balance on the icy bits but were not necessary, as my husband did fine without any. Great views at the top, I definitely recommend it.

Light snow in the shade but very hikeable in February. Combined with Raspberry for a nice two-fer.

I love that this is near water. It was peaceful and close by!

Great trail! When you get to the peak of the mountain and still have strength, you’ve got the trail up to Mount Muscoco if you turn left at the fork instead of right. There is also a cave-like opening about half way up the trail to Cutler, it only goes about 4 feet in but it’s still a good place to take a photo.

there's a lookout with a rock wall where they have park benches to enjoy the view. During the winter months you can see people ice climbing up the falls.

this rating is for the poor description and the super tiny warning.

Random trails everywhere. Some litter. Kinda sketchy in some places.

Also, if you need help getting there feel free to contact me.

So much easier to park now in a legal spot. You just have to know where to go. It’s such a beautiful and historic trail, but I agree that the homeless are ruining it. I saw drug deals, a toilet hanging off a tree with feces right on the trail, and they came over to tell me not to call the cops. Apparently they’re “taking good care of the area and causing no harm.” If it gets cleaned up I highly recommend this trail.

Good trail. I went after a cold snow the day before and the creek was frozen over, and it was beautiful. It sucks that you can’t have dogs though.

This is a great beginner course but not much for the best scenery considering where in Colorado
