My first ever hike. Amazing view from the top

on Fullerton Loop Trail

Nice views of the valley. Very icy use cleats. People on the trail are excellent and helpful. With nice weather the ice is only in areas protected by the trees. Kid friendly 7-12 yrs had a blast.

Went today from a quick hike. 25 minutes drive from South East Calgary. I ran into 4 people only so it was ideal for someone looking to escape from the city. great views and lots of cows along the path a bonus.

Beautiful loop, but if you're winter hiking, make sure you have cleats. Very icy right now.

Enjoyed the views, came across (what we suspected) a film set down by the river. Nice nature walk to get out of the city for a bit.

Great trails, well marked. Icy in spots.

It was a nice hike. There isn't very much snow, just enough to need micro ice kleets or mini spikes.

Well maintained. Easy access from Calgary.
Suitable for kids, dogs of all type and people of all skill levels.
The views are great but nothing extraordinary. I recommend for people who are looking for something easy.

Great quick hike for any Calgarian

As of today there wasn’t much snow, some slippery spots on the incline and declines. Good hike for beginners or young kids as it’s mostly flat, but for the short inclines they are fairly steep! Didn’t see any wildlife but there were some smaller tracks, Beautiful views and the trail is one of the best marked ones we’ve seen. Would recommend to anyone looking for an easier/shorter outing

Great family hike. Great views - head up stairs and go clockwise

Nice place to get out for the day, not what it used to be when I was growing up but with all things come change

Short hike for a great view. Suggest going up the stairs first

I did this hike multiple times this year walking my dog. I went a week ago and didn’t need spikes or snowshoes. It was slippery in some areas but quite dry in others. It’s a very easy hike that has some ok views.

nice trail

Mostly flat trail. Easy-moderate. ~2.5 hr hike.

Lovely wide and easy trail with nice views. There were
about 4 inches of fresh snow on the ground. We wore micro spikes but could have been done without them.

Nice and relaxing hike, definitely recommend doing it counter clockwise. You can enjoy the views from the ridge more. Was a bit slippery in places, we wore yaktrax, as there was a bit of ice in spots. It was quite beautiful with the light snow falling. Loved how wide the trail was, made it nice for conversation.

Nice and easy trail with a few steeper inclines. Best to do it later in the day to watch the sun setting on top of the rolling hills

Nice walk around. A bit of trees to walk through. The trail path we chose ended with a steep uphill at the end.
We went Aug 22, 2018.

little to no wildlife....cows...cow patties ....not even a squirrel...lots of wild flowers kid friendly

Nov.25th - steep for the first 20-25 minutes but easy once you hit the lake! Waterfalls are beautiful.

The water/ice sculpture created by the freezing waterfall makes this moderately easy hike a 5/5. Wearing micro spikes proved helpful as the start of the hike as well as the short path down to the waterfall were steep.

04/11 Would recommend as an easy winter hike with a very special waterfalls treat at the end. Required spikes for majority of the hike thanks to an icy trail. The climb down to the falls is very sketchy so recommend spikes and poles.

Was a great time, took our dog out on leash and she met a few other dogs along the way. If you have dog boots, take them with, although it wasn't muddy theres definitely some wet spots. We loved the trail, especially if you take it counter clockwise, some great view/easier to hike near the last quarter of the hike. Enjoy.

Very nice trail! Though be aware of cougars. We spotted one.

Great hike! Almost at the point of needing crampons. Slick at spots but able to walk just off trail in the snow to avoid. Hiked to top of ranger summit, continued on strange brew for a loop. Absolutely beautiful sitting area for lunch with a view.

New hiker here! This was close to Calgary, and a quick hike, didn't feel long at all. There are some steep uphill sections that can leave ya a bit breathless, but still totally manageable. Lots of muddy sections and a bit of hard-packed ice. A few nice views, but mostly forested. Lots of friendly people and dogs on the trail!

Amazing view at the top, definitely gets steep towards the top though but it goes by fast! Took us 2.5 hours total with a stop at the top. Not marked that well tough. Lots of people, no snow yet
