This one is a fun and everyday type hike. Beautiful views of downtown and the two mountain ranges. Also, at the peak there is great history of the landscape of the valley and how the city was developed overtime.

It took me 20 minutes at a moderate pace to go up and a little more than 20 minutes down. It's a bit rocky in some places, so if you're not confident on your footing, it feels slippery. It seems to always be crowded at the top.

Loved the red of the changing oak leaves and the bright yellow of the Aspens. There were lots of bikers but they were all kind and courteous.

Checked this out after coming down from Mill B - pretty little area and glad we didn’t just head back to the car, but I would hardly call it it’s own hike.

We took our two young children in a stroller (the whole trail is paved) on this walk and they really enjoyed it. There was alot for them to see including fruit trees, some of the animals from lagoon, and a large bridge. The trail is well maintained including trash cans and picnic tables along the way.

Decent path. Not exactly a trail, I wanted to run but it became more of a light jog/ Walk. I brought my dog though and she loved it! There were so many dogs on the path just hanging out with their owners. Great area to take your dog on a walk and or take a walk with someone.

Easy morning hike. Half the trail is an off leash dog area that is unpaved and the other half is paved for walking and bikes.

I thought this trail(s) was beautiful, however, coming down the large road at the end, is very dangerous. There are loose pebbles the entire way and of course-I found the wrong one and fell and I sustained a pretty painful injury to my knee cap and side butt. You just have to pay attention and be careful coming down.

Nice easy little hike with some good views of the Salt Lake Valley

It was pretty easy and had a beautiful view of Dt and the capital building

I logged a grand total of 0.25 miles to see the falls. And that’s only cause I didn’t recognize the Hidden Falls trail for what it was. I mistakenly took a right and started hiking the Mill B trail. While this is a short little “hike” it was pretty and a fun, quick after work diversion as the sun was setting.

Had an awesome trip. They were having a mountain bike race up Snowbasin, but we talked to a few couples walking out of the trail that said the race was on the other side of the pond, so we just took a quick trip to the pond and back. Had all four children with us (8,4,3,5weeks) so it was a good first time out. We’ll be back to hike the whole thing soon enough.

It’s barely a hike but it’s worth it. There are two trails at the head. The left goes to the falls and the right goes to the Mill B North trail. The left trail is very short and you have to walk over some rocks in the creek if you want to get close to the falls. There is also an abandoned mine or something nearby. It’s cool to look at.

Beautiful place!

I partially did this loop and ended up walking along a creek. It was lovely and shady.

Didn't know where to park because I couldn't quite find the beginning. Parked in a cul de sac and walked for a bit. Animals and pavement were nice for a walk but not a hiking trail at all.

Good trail to start off in SLC, overlooking the city, beautiful at the top!

Short and sweet. Not much of a waterfall this time of year.

Went with my son and dog. A lot of fun

Great hike. Beautiful view of downtown! I plan to have friends and family try this trail out when they visit.

Fun! Kids love it because they can ride their bikes or scooters. It’s fun to see the animals too!

Spotted a smaller sized mountain lion on the ridge line just to the right of the falls. There’s a lot of small crevices and small caves in that direction so be very careful if you venture up Mill Creek, which is close to this hike. We alerted authorities but nothing more game of it.

I wouldn’t really consider this a hike, it’s more of an easy getaway if you need a place of zen or relaxation. The falls are beautiful and definitely a good spot for a picnic.

Amazing views of salt lake city

We always call this the dog park. Lots of dogs off leash. Fun place for your dog to meet other dogs, if that’s your goal.

It’s a beautiful overlook. Steeper than you think but short. There’s street parking at the trailhead.

If you go soon after this is posted, BEWARE and read on.
Great hike, especially for kids. One problem. We went yesterday, hiked up to the pond. We walked around the pond, which it seems like few do. The little trail is somewhat overgrown. We stumbled onto a ground nest of hornets right in the middle of the trail and they swarmed. Whole family got stung several times. As you walk up to the pond, the nest is along the right side (west). If you stay on the other side, I'm sure you'll be fine. It wasn't until we walked right up on it that we had trouble. They chased us for several hundred yards back down the trail. We passed a couple that was heading up, told them about it and they decided to go up anyway and got stung as well. Otherwise, this was a great hike — perfect for young children. Not too far, not too strenuous. Just right. That being said, I don't think I'll be able to get the kids to come back to it. Good story for them to tell though. Builds character.

Great bike ride for a family! All asphalt and a nice pond.

This is such an easy hike. Even though it’s short the payoff is incredible. If you need a short break from...anything...this is an excellent option.
