It is combination of two trails. I would rate the lake trail as EASY and falls trail as MODERATE. The falls trail left me wondering at times if I am on right track. My phone measured the total distance as 5.2 kilometres.

A great little hike! Yes, the trails could use a bit better marking, but so long as you have a copy of the map & GPS you'll be find. We got sidetracked just after the lake & ended up going into the campgrounds, but if that happens to you, turn left & you'll meet back up to the path or you can just go back & take the right trail. At the most eastern part of the trail, if you end up taking the right fork, it leads to a lookout, which is nice. My partner & I looked around the corner of the left side of the fork & he felt the hill on the right hand side would be pretty typical of the path on the left so he just went down there. I opted to go back & take the left trail. I'm glad I did as it was super easy to follow & get down. The Outlook to the main falls is getting pretty herd to see through now, & we saw the cave down by the falls so we decided to make our way down to the falls itself. Glad we did. It was a fun hike to the cave. Spoiler alert, it's just a 10ft deep hole. The main lake is a great afterthought to the hike to cool down. =)

Great loop trail that is longer than it looks! Set aside about 3-4 hours to get all the way around. An easy hike with interesting parts to keep it entertaining for all skill levels. We started at the private group camp site and it got confusing when we came to the public weaver campsite. We ended up going behind the beach and had to walk the last 45 mins back along the dusty road. Recommend just cutting through the beach to stay on the pretty forest trail.

Love Rolley Lake trail we go every week, it is pretty easy and a nice hike, there is some rocks, tree roots and logs to walk over but nothing much at all.

The Rolley lake falls however is not easy at all. the trail its self is difficult to find and there are areas that you are not even sure your on the right path.

I go hiking with my mom and my 8 year old son and our dogs and this trail was a little difficult.

Beaware it takes a longer then expected time and where you have to go down you have to come back up again.

There are many big rocks, logs, roots and fallen trees to climb over and at one time it looks like there were stairs but they are all worn away now.

There should be two different entrys on this page about the two different trails and different ratings.

Easy after work-before dinner hike! The trail is really well maintained and suitable for all skill levels.

This is a great waterfall to visit that is definitely less busy than some others such as bridal falls. It's actually very stunning in its cascading beauty. We actually discovered freshwater crayfish down below it as well. A hidden gem.

Easy day trail, with a variety of moss covered rainforest, lake views and lovely stops for a swim. Bring lunch to enjoy by the lake.

Nice and quick trail. By itself it's a short hike but it's also connected to the larger trail system for those who want a longer hike.

very easy for a short jog!

There was a large nest of black and white hornets about 15 minutes from the trailhead. they are hidden in the bushes. unfortunately my 5 year old was attacked by 2 of them and we had to turn back.

Love this trail. Its a good for young and old. Beautiful scenery too. Bring some wild bird seed and hold out your hand and watch the chickadees eat from your hand.

had a hard time finding trailhead as the directions were not correct . we had to go to the campsite registration booth to find out where it is after travelling back and forth on the road for half an hour nowhere does it say that it is in entrance bay campsite(just past site 8 there is a sign.) definitely would not say it is easy/for all levels starts out fairly steep. did not complete the hike as it was too hot for such a steep hike.

Did this today via lower sumas, big black bear on xcelerator route, so we turned around. Be cautious.

Nice day out but trail to the falls is NOT well marked out.

Nice hike, the viewpoints are a bit out of the way though.

Great trail. Short walk but a beautiful destination. The trail is open. I don’t know why it’s marked closed.

Nice, easy trail run route - well-maintained and super easy to navigate.

Trail is currently OPEN with the exception of Hairsine Inlet as the floating bridge has been removed. Getting to the parking lot and walking down to the falls is no problem.

I really like this walk for a quick cardio. Up and down all the way with a nice small stair climb at the end. Beautiful trees and plants in this walk.

perfect with the dog and kids. all enjoyed. been back a few times.

Great trail, flat around the lake, the hike to the bottom of the falls and back was steep and had some rocks and roots to navigate.
