An easy and relaxing hike with some pretty views. It was 17km which is a lot of walking but good if you want to take your time and spend the day out there. Lots of water spots for the pup to play in!

This is an easy hike and has beautiful Scenery, but disappointing. The trail just end and seem very Anticlimactic. At the end you can hear a waterfall that is just out of view, unless you are adventuresome and crawl up the creek on logs and rocks. I do love the views of Heart Mountain and the beauty in the canyon. Have done this hike twice once in the spring and now in the fall. The trail was snow covered and becoming icy.

It is a long trip taking more than 6 hours (with lots of photos). We saw lots of different mushrooms along the trail’

Easy hike. Great views for the effort put in.

Seriously underrated. We came on a Sunday morning back in June and there was not a soul in sight. It's essentially just a leisurely stroll with a huge reward. I absolutely recommend this for families or those who just want a small hike for half the day.

Excellent hike. Could have used our spikes up top as a small amount of snow made it pretty slippery.

Take the extra time and make it allllll the way to Upper Galatea lake. The solitude and views are worth it. Hell of a spot to eat lunch.

Great hike. Accessible for all levels. Follow trail signs from Burstall Pass parking lot. I would highly recommend you do it in the fall (I did it September 30). The larches are so beautiful. Explore the area at the end of the trail a bit, if you can. The views change quickly depending on where you’re at. If you’re into trail running this hike would work well. There are rocks which makes hiking boots nice, but runners would suffice.

Easy hike with lovely views of the waterfalls right at the beginning. A moderate grade of a hike - easy for beginners. A lovely surprise of mountain views once you summit. Nobody else on the trail today!

Great hike, beautiful scenery and a variety of terrain. Like others have said, it is long. Took my 14 and I about 5.5 hours. Time well spent though.

One of my favorite

Not a hike I’d do again. Fairly easy to get up, not a lot to see.

Pretty steep walk up to the lake but it’s beautiful there and great spot to stop and have lunch!

Beautiful! definitely a favorite! Great overnight at Lillian. Completed with kids (5 and 7 yrs). we will be back!

Great, but long! might be too long for the kids(our kids were 4 and 6! they were champs, but there was some complaining! lol)

fun for the whole family! easy and pretty!

Nice short easy walk. It was the first mountain walk I’ve taken my dog on and the first mountain walk I’ve done solo. Not a super busy path, although there were others around which was comforting but I also did it end of September. Great for a easy walk close to the city!

As Bryan said, it's do able on a weekday. I got there at 4 PM, got a bit lost by walking around on the wrong side of the road and then made it to the correct trailhead. I was all done by 7:15 and that included a break at the top and a few small breaks coming up

Lovely hike that I was able to do on a weekday. Only person on the path for the entire duration. This is an excellent hike for a first-time solo trip. Not overly challenging but still gets the heart rate up while providing some nice views. 1.5 hours in, 1 hour out.

Did this walk just before dinner after arriving to the camp ground. We were treated to a quiet walk and a spectacular view at the lake with a light mist rolling and flowing over the water.

This a great hike for families. My kids (ages 6 and 10) handled it beautifully. The bridges are fun to cross and they enjoyed jumping from rock to rock in places. You may see climbers so look up!

I was with Shahram and confirm it can be done in one day though little bit difficult. One of the best hikes I've ever done and will do in the future.
Lots of water on the trail can be used if having either filter or pills.
There are few campsites for those who want to enjoy more.
On the way back I recommend to follow the route Shahram recorded as the meadow was beautiful and quite. My phone crashed so I could not complete my recordings.

Only completed the portion of the route up to Lillian Lake. Approximately 13kms round trip. Lovely route, following the creek a majority of the way. 10 walking bridges on route. Path is mainly rolling hills but near the approach has a sudden steep incline to the lake. The lake is a great photo op. Brought the dog and he loved it until he became a bit tired near the end of our return back. Took about 2hr 15mins there and 1hr 45mins back.

Decent hike , not the best view until you’re at the very top. Took around 3 and a half hours with a long break at the top for lunch

Alder Trail Loop and Banded Peak Trail: This hike surprised me as it is so close to a Bragg Creek and a local school. I was expecting an overrun trail with little or no real substance. Instead, this easy hike had lots to offer a family with young children including: educational trail signs, wildlife, a small pond with a dock, and lots of sitting areas. The entire hike, that included both portions took a couple of hours. That was taking our time to enjoy all that the trails had to offer.

Great hike for beginners. Gradual inclines until the top. Very steep, hiking poles are a must. Windy up at the top but the view is gorgeous.

Great hike. It really had everything. Great views all around the lake. Beautiful fall colours are out in bloom.

Long trail as some people said. Still nice and you can see beautiful scenery though.

Great trail, i did 3 times
