Beautiful as ever but a bit icy. Would recommend crampons.

This is a scenic, well-defined trail that’s great for an easy stroll in the woods. When we went, there were a lot of downed trees and a few spots where the trail was severely waterlogged, but I’m sure this was a result of recent weather and not typical. We plan to visit again in the fall, to take in the changing leaves.

This trail is nice if you want to appreciate the foliage or water. The trail is lower in the mountains, so don’t expect a scenic overlook, but the stream next to it provides beautiful rock formations in blue-green water. At a fast pace, you’ll feel tuckered out by the end!

Nice falls. Easy to find. Steep hill to get down the base.

Easy hike for families until you reach the falls. Steep stairs but there are hand rails.

If somebody asked me “what is the best first trail for me to hike near Pittsburgh?”, I would say “Kildoo Trail”. This is a great length; it requires you to work hard, but it’s not overwhelming; and the scenery is BEAUTIFUL. The terrain is steep, but manageable. Definitely wear boots and take water. And on nice days, be ready to share the trail with others ‘cause it gets CROWDED. But it is a beautiful hike that you will love!

So many nice little spots to relax by the little river.

Lots of wildlife, Flowers, beautiful boulders, waterfalls, covered bridge and a working Old Mill. Good hike a little rocky and muddy in spots. Probably my Favorite trails in Pennsylvania

The trail is a quick one, all down hill, not scenic, very rocky with divots. When you reach the creek take a left to view the waterfall. The creek has some nice areas to view aside from the waterfall. It's also a nudist area which is clearly marked on multiple rocks you'll see. It was worth it to see the waterfall but the trail itself is boring, not a place I'd go back to unless I become a nudist.

Easy to access the top of the falls. A little tougher to scale down to the bottom, but worth it.

beautiful trail..as someone else said not kid friendly to the left of the trail head..this is a nude area..i was not comfortable even seeing the falls..will return in the fall when clothing is not optional..other than that was a nice trail..abd no I am not a prude..lol..

Fun trail

it was very nice

Nice, easy hike. Saw a ton of butterflies!

Liked the elevation change, but it was just a walk through the woods.

Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful. During our trip the trees provided a wonderful canopy from the rain and the hot summer sun for most of it. Great trail with some exciting challenges throughout.

Just hiked this today with my dog (4 month old lab). He loved it just as much as I did. Definitely recommend this trail for someone who’s looking for a beautiful hike with a slight challenge to it. One of the best in the area in my opinion!

Another beautiful trail in the park. Easier hike than the alpha pass trail. Waterfall is a nice payoff at the end.

Great trail, kids and dog loved it. Lots of rocks and tree roots to look out for, so I’d call this closer to moderate for less experienced hikers.

It's one of the prettiest trails I've been on in a long time. Covered bridge AND a waterfall. HOWEVER, it is NOT an easy tail, as it is rated in the app. Lots of rocks and roots, and because of its proximity to the river, the rocks and roots were wet and slippery. I'm 68 and was able to manage it, but if you have joint problems, be aware!
