Great trail — easy access, well beaten path, and excellent views.

Free residential parking near the beginning of the trail. You hike over a small creek and up wooden stairs until you reach the end which is an intersection with three other trails.

Absolutely love this trail! Kicks my butt but amazing workout and short!

Very nice trail that we started in Lake Forest near Saddleback church on El Toro road. Gradual hill towards the canyons and downhill away from the canyons. Nice views with trees and some creeks. Also went thru a few neighborhoods. Ended at Cook’s Corner - biker place. Definitely family friendly.

Had a great time exploring here. Especially after some good rainfall.

Great trail but closed indefinitely due to the “Holy Fire” in August 2018. USFS said it will be closed for 2-3 years.

While the scenery is nice, this is really a trail for biking. It is not difficult walk, but on four separate occasions you have to cross over the creek. Unless one is uber agile, you are going to get your feet wet.

Also, the start of the trail is a literally on the other side of the parking lot of where google maps will take you. Park close to the Taco Bell.

I loved this trail, but it is not moderate. There are one or two easy sections and the majority of the trail is moderate. But, Camarillo Trail is rated difficult, this is seen on the trail maps that are at the trail. So, how is the trail? Well most of it is double track with probably around 30-40% single track. It has a mix of smooth to rock and technical trails. This means that if you are a beginner to moderate skill level you can ride the trail and walk down and up the parts that you can't. In short, I really enjoyed this trail and I will definitely come back to help me improve until I can clean the whole trail.

Short and sweet but it's a steep incline! I like that it also leads you to the Toovet Trail so you can make it a longer hike that is equally as rewarding.

This allows dogs- not sure why it says they are not allowed.

Great hike that connects to 3 other trails. It’s a great but hard work out, with awesome views the whole way.

I really like this trail, I usually run to Santa margaritas from Ladera Ranch at weekend

Great hike! It took me about 1.5 hours to do the 4.8 mile loop. I started at 2:30pm on a Thursday and I only saw two other people on the trail. Views from the higher elevations are gorgeous. I was able to see all the way to DTLA. Trails are well marked and the ranger has maps available.

it was a very dirty, no one pick after their pets, disappointed

Looks can be deceiving! It's looks super easy but will kick your butt in the way out! Beautiful view on a clear day!

love this trail, but currently closed due to wildfires.

It was a tough hike !!!!

Note: The dirt road that leads to this trail is rough and not suitable for most sedans. Mid to high clearance vehicles are recommended.

This is a beautiful canyon hike with a good amount of shade. It’s pretty busy though, so if you’re not a fan of crowds, come during the week or early on the weekend.

awesome, easy, shade!

I loved this short but ass kicking trail.

Great family hike. Lost a pair of Maui Jim prescription glasses today, though. If found, please call Jason at 714-910-4101.

Beautiful scenery and great incline, I wish it was longer! If you follow it all the way down to the 1 then you reach the beach!

Relatively flat easy relaxing hike!

Occasional bikers. (I was one of them til I broke a couple bones—twice!)

Nice hike. Great little falls at the end

Dogs are NOT allowed on this trail. Please update your information so people don’t waste their time.

Incline trail. I grade this trail moderate/hard. We parked on street that led to trail, why drive? The views were okay, the leg workout was good. Keep in mind the trail is full of uneven ground, holes. If your okay with the incline being most of your trail, this is for you! Wish I could post trail pictures for you, don’t know how though.

Gate is closed 2miles before parking lot and notice posted saying Emergency closure April 20th through May 18th, 2018. I’ll try to post photo of sign warning $5,000 fines for being in area.
