Took a walk out while on vacation. Nice little stroll with plenty of spots to stop for a dip on a hot day. The trail is easy enough to do in your beach footwear. the views are great and include ocean birds and sail boats.
There are several smaller paths you can take that connect the loops 2 sides but no signage. Being a small peninsula you can't really get lost so if you want you can make the walk longer byzig zagging your way out.

High tide water slog, 18” deep! Right on!

The trail was nice and scenic, but it was a bit hilly. Still fun though!

I did the blue trail. Well marked. Some ups and downs, not super strenuous, but more of a workout than most trails I’ve walked in the area. I missed the scenic overlook the first time, the trees in the distance are tall enough to nearly block the view. Would come back in the fall or late fall, it’s probably lovely during peak foliage.

Boardwalk is super slick after rain- easy, flat trail. Portions are in full sun so sunscreen is beneficial.

It was a great walk though not marked at all. I walked about 5 miles

Disappointing this morning. I tried to take my kids here and the trails are very overgrown. We had to turn around part way through the blue loop.

Poorly advertised as dog friendly. The access trail to this trail is not dog friendly and therefore should not be considered or advertised to be as such.

Took this loop but explored off the trail in several places. Lovely light hike - saw very few people -3 runners, surprising for a beautiful Saturday. The Concord River is lovely- can swim at the bay about midway through the loop.

so thick with mosquitoes that even with natural repellent and DEET we couldn't make it 2 minutes down the trail... we will try again in the winter maybe.

Boggy towards the end but nice flat hike in the middle of aquidneck island

Hike was lots of fun! Great views of lake and Sudbury river. Lots of people walking dogs too, so that was a plus.

Nice trail. Short and sweet. Didn’t make it all the way to the end, though. Next time!

*DOG OWNERS* check your dogs thoroughly for ticks after this trail. Found 6 ticks on one of my dogs and 2 ticks on the other. This time of year is bad!

Easy walk, not a very long trail- a good choice if you just want a good breath of fresh salty air. Good mixture of woods and water. Awesome scenery!!! Breathtaking!!!! Calming, serenity!

An easy trail with such an amazing view! I would recommend visiting The Knob to everyone.

Fun hike and great with younger kids. Saw herring run up the stream. Great to also cross the road and hike the bay.

ok

Great wide trail. I parked on Mitchell Lane and walked 4 miles to the Glen and then returned. Very muddy right at the start; I was glad I wore goretex hiking shoes. Easy/flat walk. A lot of it border the National Golf Course. More woodsy once you get closer to the Portsmouth side.

Great trail for walking your dog!

Beautiful pond area. Easy walk. Fun for kids and dogs.

My concerns are the population of deer which leads to ticks. Be sure to use bug spray and check for ticks at home.

Easy to get to, beautiful trail, need the GPS to navigate.

Just and FYI... since we Didn’t actually get to walk the trail. We were here with our dogs. The trail head/ parking begins at the Walden Pond boat launch. Dogs are not permitted on the portion of Trail from the boat launch parking along the south edge of Walden Pond.

great spot for a quick hike with the kids. we saw deer and a snake which added to the experience

nice trail through woods and along fields and golf course. There is more beyond where I turned around at Mitchell Lane

great trail.

Some areas overgrown a little probably very muddy in some areas if there is any rain but my dog did really enjoy this walk.

Not super well marked, but I had cell reception during most of it allowing us to follow our loop. My 3 year old walked the majority of the trail!

Fairly easy hike. Pretty quiet and peaceful. Parking is tricky, I parked at Walden Pond where there is a charge and the lot fills up very fast. Hike to the back of Walden Pond, cross the rail tracks and you will be in Wright Woods. Great hike with kids. There are many forks in the trail, as there are several short cuts and those weren't labelled very well.

horseback riding

My friend and I took our horses here on a weekend and we pleasantly surprised. We didn't come across too many people and there was a few places to go down to the river with our horses to get in the water. Some trails which are marked very well were too rocky for the horses to go down but there were alternative routes. There was even a side trail with some homemade jumps to spice things up a little. My horse is tall so some tree branches were a little low for me but they weren't impassable. There are two different parking areas and the one we parked at didn't leave a lot of room for the truck and trailer but we made it work. We will definitely go back.

Great spot for an easy and quiet paddle. There are large areas of lily pads but otherwise a nice ride.
