Great hike for the more experienced hikers! Quite rocky and several spots with steep inclines! Gorgeous view once you get to the top! Watch out for snakes! Enjoy but be careful!

The AT trail up the rock wall was very challenging and you need both hands and feet. If you have a great fear of heights this part can be a bit scary. However the views were spectacular. Blue trail down was very peaceful.

One of the more strenuous trails I've hiked, with the gain being somewhere around 900 feet / mile. The trails coming off the AT - particularly the North Trail - are not the best marked, but when you find them you will be blown away by the views!

Beautiful scenery and good trails with elevation gain/loss.

Took North and South scenic trails, which are more difficult and have a lot of sun exposure. The AT sections were easier and had coverage. Great loop. Wear sunscreen and a hat!

Awesome trail. Great if your looking for a long hike! Thankfully we started early, got very crowded as we made our way back to the bottom.

Great reward at the lookout. We parked in the first parking lot but could have cut the hike in half if we parked in the second lot in. Use gps. No sign for Tank Hollow which is a good thing because its kind of a secret gem and not a lot of people. Took us 45 mins each way.

A moderate, largely unmaintained loop trail that winds down the mountain and has a steep incline to finish. Trail is well marked with a couple of nice views along the way, as well as a 0.5 mile reroute to a waterfall. Would recommend on a nice day!

Easy trail. Good for families. Beautiful waterfall at the end. Will probably go again later in the season when there’s more water though. The trail was probably once secluded but they’re putting in a pipeline or something and a good portion of the trail runs right next to the construction and dirt road. Kind of a bummer.

Enjoyable hike up to Center Point Knob via White Rocks trail. Nice variety of rock formations and scrambles. There are some pretty narrow passageways through some of the rocks. Overall, this is a quick and fun day hike!

Second time I did it. liked it better the 2nd time.

Good short out and back. Very rocky near the top, but had no issues with wife and dog. We opted to continue on down the mountain on the AT, which has you finally cross a farmed field. we walked the roads back to the parking. All together, had a great time and legs feel tired.

This was a great trail! I was looking for something consistently uphill as a challenge but am not quite ready for something as substantial as a short, steep climb. The milage to the top was spread out enough that it felt like a workout without making me weary of my abilities. A rocky portion towards the top was a little annoying but I wouldn't call it difficult. The trail was very easy to follow and wide enough for the pup and my friend and I to walk side by side most of the time. It took us a little under 4 hours. I am eager to return when the trees and whatnot are not bare. I also feel like going around sunfish pond would have been a good addition to the trail. Overall a great hike with good views, and a consistent challenge without being overwhelming.

Great hike! Maybe easy for a lot of hikers, but the white trail blaze Appalachian is not great for small children or dogs. My dog usually does great in all terrain but there were at least 2 parts she needed help. Blue trail was a nice relief after the climb up, well marked with and a little further than GPS was showing. Beautiful views and worth it if you know what to expect.

Nice moderately difficult trail. Nice things to see and well marked. We will be going again!

I would not rate this trail as hard but moderate. It was a bit rocky in some spots especially near the top but a good uphill climb. The pond was really beautiful and peaceful and worth the uphill trek. Views from the campsites on the left before you get to the pond we’re beautiful as well. The waterfalls at the beginning and the end were also nice to see and hear.

Really good hike! It’s mostly up hill to the King and Queen seat. Definitely will feel it in your calves. The view is worth it though!

Fun easy hike. Logging road threw me off a little. Can’t wait to come back in the summer when the waterfall is more full. Great hike for dogs.

Pretty hike. Parking at Wilson’s picnic area, follow the white blazes the whole time if you want to match the AllTrails map. It was 3.1 miles total. If you want a reward at the end, go right at the first split. If you want to be at the Seats in 10-15 minutes, follow the trail straight uphill. There is one road crossing. This was an easy trail for our dog (a big lab) as well. Parking is $4.00 for non MD residents in the Wilson’s parking lot.

I would not rate this as easy. I would saw moderate, steep and rocky. We did like it very much and will do it again. The bench at the top look out was lovely.

First time hiking The Peter’s mountain-loop with snow on the mountain. Incredible. The trail seemed much different with the rocks covered in snow, some places 2-3 ft deep. Strongly recommend taking the Susquehanna trail back to Clark’s Ferry. It’s one of the highlights. Miswak stick.

easy not much of a hike but a nice walk

Lovely walk and sights!

This is NOT easy! We've been told this is one of the most difficult sections of the AT in Pennsylvania. You will need to do some rock scrambling to get to the views but they are gorgeous!

this makes for a day of outdoor fun and a stop to Cabelas! Very rocky but very beautiful views. I always find that rhere are too many people at the view but atleast it is big enough. Cool to watch birds from here or see the foliage. Watch out for snakes!!

Great for kids.

It was tough to do and an awesome challenge. But take the “scenic route” that is an off shoot of it. It adds a little bit of distance but walks along the open side of the mountain.
