Easy trail. Very pretty.

This trail was lovely. It had some ups and downs but not unmanageable. We took our two senior dogs and they seemed to do just fine. Was a little muddy this time of year, wear good shoes.

This is a well maintained trail in a naturally beautiful area. It is a bit of a drive to get back into the lake, but very well worth the drive.

This is a trail I will do again.

the trail to bridge is a flat walk until last 1000ft, this is a easy hike

Beautiful place to both hunt and just walk/run around. It's very easy-going to maneuver through for both experienced and inexperienced folk and a place I always enjoy visiting.

Starting to get muddy, boardwalks slippy - still a enjoyable place to run

A little small but I like the seclusion of this park so close to Lacey and Olympia.

Tough uphill if you want to get to the bridge!

It’s a busy trail usually but it’s only because of how beautiful it is. My kids love to read about the different trees that grow there and explore the trails with wonder every time we go. I highly recommend and love this trail.

Beautiful scenic walk! This time of year, things are a little damp, but that made for a nice cascading waterfall!! As long as you watch your step on the trails, you'll be A-okay

loved it however didn't make it all the way to the falls my son decided he wanted to turn back just short of getting there. yes there are gunshots at the beginning but that's because. there is a range not far away. I like the sound of gunshots so thought it was pretty cool. passed lots of horses other dogs and just people in general. we had a blast our two dogs loved it. lots of fun. as for dogs eating horse poop yea it happens dogs love horse shit, tell them to leave it and move oh. I will be visiting this trail many more times!!!

I liked the hike and the lower trail to take pictures of the bridge. But it is a dead end. Had a great afternoon hiking and walking with my Dog

nice views

It's a nice little walk in the woods. Although the route says it is 3.1 miles, I took a bit of a longer route and it was well under that. When I look at the milage, I am estimating the time it will take to get me back for dinner.

Nice park and trails to chill at.

Finally got a chance to visit this adrenaline beauty ! I went there last week but posting review now. I started driving from olympia about like 3 pm and reached north side at about 4:15 pm. I wl suggest to go in evening or early morning. It’s super easy to find bridge from parking lot. At the pier, they have strip which healthy man can easily use to climb. Steel beam looks thin in all photos but in reality they r thick enough to give you confidence. Just make sure to put your leg carefully on logs.

Pls pls pls don’t miss this amazing bridge that we have in NW backyard.

This is my go to place when I want to get away from the busy life. It's not hard and at some points, you get nice views of the lake. I swam there plenty of times.

Quiet and woodsy with some decent views at the top. Hooks up with several other trails

this was the funniest trail ever

Get past the first portion and the poop and gunshots quantity swiftly declines. The falls were nothing special but were a decent marker for getting there. I went a bit past the falls to see what else was going on there and it wasn't too bad. I think I'd like to try the giant 14 or so mile loop at some point. Turned around so it wouldn't be dark before I got back.

A couple things. This should be called the Mima Falls East trail in this app. There are East and West trails according to the DNR maps and signage. The East trail is this trail that takes you to the falls. If you go beyond the falls, you are then on the West trail.

As you are headed in, be sure to follow the Mima Falls East signage. At one point you will come to some signs that give you an option of Mima Falls East or Mima Falls Tie. If this is your first time, just stick to Mima Falls East.

Great trail for Mt. Biking. Depending on which way you go around the loop you could end up biking uphill most of the way. My 8 year old boy did the whole loop and loved it.

Great family walk. We all had a good time. 2 adults, 15 year old, and 8 year old boys.

The longer loop is a little rocky but overall it's a nice walk. There are a lot of grasshoppers so watch your step and try not to smoosh them! Also, ladies don't wear a v-neck! I had two hit me on the lower chest area and they might have gotten in my shirt if it had been lower cut. Wish there wasn't a gun range close by, you can absolutely hear the rounds going off.

This hike was pretty easy. Passed runners, bikers and two horses on narrow trails. My dog kept eating horse poop, so that was no fun. The falls were basically a trickle of water that we passed because it wasn’t marked. No rewarding views.

Nice walk for kids and the short walk is ADA accessible. Very easy for families, but not for people looking for a good work out. We didn't hear any gunshots, thankfully, as others have. Interesting natural site.

Nice run... nice and peaceful trail. Some of the parts were narrow and I had to wait for bicyclist to go through, but that is really not anything to complain about. My biggest complaint was that I heard many small caliber gunshots at the very beginning of the trail. I no longer heard any closer to the falls, just at the beginning of the trail. Based off of the name, I was expecting a nice run to a beautiful waterfall… But that’s not the case. The “falls“ were so small that it is possible to even miss it. I heard some running water hiked down a baby trail and saw it. If you are looking for a nice waterfall, the nicest in the area is Tumwater Falls. If you are looking for a nice hike or trail run, this is the place.

This is an awesome loop, well-maintained. Despite the proximity to water, there were not many bugs. Lots of benches along the trail for resting. Our German shepherd loved it.
