Super neat, well worth the side trip. I was sad to see a family who were letting their kids jump and swing around all over the fragile formations.

Sound of Silence was a little confusing and surprisingly difficult but interesting and pretty. Desert Voices was a nice trail and not difficult. I wouldn’t be caught dead on either one if there were any rain around. Both spend a long time going through drainages and dry washes that would be dangerous if there was rain nearby.

Super easy and fun trail that crosses streams multiple times, has wide open pastures, and a narrow canyon towards the end. Definitely recommend!

Getting to the trailhead was a little tricky. Coming from Vernal, pass the reservoir and the state park entrance. The road bends to the right and there is a mailbox on the left with a flag on the top, plus a dirt road! Take the dirt road for a bit. You’ll come to a 3 way intersection-ish. Take a left and follow to the green gate and park.

This place is awesome! The hike is short and easy. Had a hard time following the trail but you can't really get lost. The unique landscape is amazing and we had a great time wandering through the formations.

we just did the first section of the hike. It was a bit of a scramble in the rocks but some great up-close views of the petroglyphs.

We really enjoyed getting to this hidden gem. The hike is fairly easy, a bit of a climb over slick rock and sand. The arch is breathtaking and a cool oasis after a warm and sunny hike.
