Amazing beauty of the canyon, crystal clear rivers, and unbelievable falls. Trails are well managed and camping area is perfect.

Beautiful hike down through some incredible formations that include a couple of natural bridges. Some muddy sections this time of year.

This is a fantastic hike. You get to see so many sites with a limited number of miles. I enjoy being down among the hoodoos and seeing them stand over you provides a different perspective than when you are on the rim. This is a must do hike for any hikers visiting Bryce Canyon.

Wonderful trail to get up close and personal with the Hoo Doos. We added Peek-a-Boo loop. There was a bit of residual ice, snow, and red muddy slush on the trail, but traction was ok in hiking boots. Views were astonishing. We saw a herd of 15 deer at the bottom.A steep climb out, but worth it.

This is a challenging, unmarked "trail" that is perhaps a little more than "moderate", read: not great for younger or inexperienced hikers. The majority of the route involves scrambling over large boulders including some substantial obstacles in the eastern gorge. Travel time for two adults and one ambitious 11 year old was 4 hours excluding the final climb to the peak. I've done this hike twice and the view from the peak is impressive and a little nerve-wrecking due to a substantial dropoff on the north face.

Our favorite hike of all time (so far).... this trail had it all, steep mountain hike with awesome views, long narrow slot canyon, boulder climbs and unusual rock formations...this trail is a must!

The landscape is incredible. The trail is a “raiders for the lost ark” expedition- if you don’t have gps and AllTrails you will have no idea where you are. This trail seemed much more than ‘moderate ‘ going up the boulder gorge at the beginning. I just wish it wouldn’t have bested me and I could have completed it. We abandoned the boulder gorge and went around the backside of the loop but ran out of daylight

Fun trail, loved the beautiful views.

I am trying to get a permit for 2 of us and I can’t get thru the phone lines. I have called continuously but no answer. Any suggestions on how else I can purchase a couple nights stay for 2 possibly 3 of us? Would they help me if I drive all the way there? Please email me if you have suggestions : chapis503@outlook.com

Really great hike! Get there early to for fewer people. Would definitely hike again!

Just stunning. Not too bad snow wise but there was a storm coming in after we left so it might’ve all changed. A must do if you’re in Bryce.

AMAZING. Honestly no words.

First time here. Loved it. Gotta be prepared in all ways possible though, specially on this kind of weather (cloudy partially flakey).

We really enjoyed this challenging hike today. We turned around about 3/4 of the way to the waterfall at the end due to the increased difficulty of the bouldering. We had seen so much beauty already that we were full and didn’t need to press on. The little pools of water and stream along with endless beautiful rocks of all colors and patterns and the diversity of the plant life made this hike one of our favorites so far.
When you are on the trail, you will come to a big rock triangle in the dirt and there are three ways to go. This is where we went left to the riverbed and then took a right at the riverbed and followed it out and back for the reminder of the hike. This will take you to the pools of water. Be careful coming back. We almost missed the left out of the riverbed to get back onto the main trail.

Awesome hike! Great scenery! Get there early, as it gets quite crowded anytime after 11am, slot canyons are difficult to maneuver with other people on trail. Take a camera!
Wear good shoes, saw some guy doing this hike in flip flops, not good.

Took the fam and we all really enjoyed the hike.

Best hike I have been on if I'm going with a water destination in mind. It's beautiful, fun, and a great workout. Going down is a piece of cake, opposed to coming back up. I wouldn't recommend going when the weather is over 100 degrees, because the hike back up to the top can be very exasperating. If you make the hike in weather that's hotter then you would like for a hike, I can't tell you enough times to hydrate, hydrate, and hydrate some more. I've been to this particular location about 5 or 6 times. Early winter isn't tooo bad, but the water crossing is extremely cold around that time of year, but it's so worth it. In any weather it's worth it. I will continue to go again & again, at all times of the year. Great hike to hang out at for the day.

Great hike with some cool caves

The mountains besides the trail are so beautiful. I am sorry I didn't hike the whole trail.

Great hike. Not that many people for it being Spring Break so a lot of the trail was just myself and the kids. Feels like being on another planet.

Not much to see, but an enjoyable hike if you're looking to get some exercise.

We headed out on the trail early which allowed for ample photo ops while hiking through the canyon and up to the scenic overlook.

Descending was very crowded as there were so many people in the narrow canyon.

Definitely a must do hike as the views were spectacular.

Our favorite hike yet, this one had it all. Mountain climb, slot canyon and amazing rock formations. Would probably rate this one on the harder side of moderate though due to the steep boulder climbs at the end.

Such a beautiful place to go and see nature. The hike in was roughly 12 miles in (not the 10 everyone says). We checked in at the village and were on our way. There isn’t any signs along the way to let us know we were heading in the right direction so we used other hikers as our “guides” to know we were heading in the right direction. When we reached the first “fall” it was a disappointment (only because I thought that was where we were suppose to be and that was it). Keep going, pass the signs that say “Dangerous Unstable Ground” and pass the grave yard. When you are getting nervous you will never make it, just go a little further and you are there. This place is totally worth the sore muscles and exhaustion. We did put up our tent in close to the Natural Spring water (really made life easier to be so close to the fresh water). The hike out is daunting, tiring and makes you question every poor life choice but when you reach the top and are back in the comfort of your own vehicle, it makes you feel accomplished. Wear good supportive shoes, take ONLY what you need and hand sanitizer NEEDS to make it in your pack. Females, be prepared to “hover” in the bathrooms. Most importantly....enjoy the place....it’s absolutely beautiful and magical.

Was a nice hike. Takes you 30 minutes to get out there (downhill) and an hour to get back (uphill). Like the gatekeeper said, “It’s so easy a 10 year old could find it.” Although I HIGHLY don’t recommend taking your kids. After getting used to the nudists it was an enjoyable hang out spot. Everyone was friendly and we all had a blast. The springs were hot and it was nice to take a dip in the cold water down below. There was also a little swing that people were using to jump into the creek. All in all, make sure to be prepared because the hike is steep, brings lots of water, and a no judgement mentality. Just have fun! Happy hiking!~

It was an amazing experience!

fun hike! requires some climbing over rocks and a mild steep hike in some areas but take your time and enjoy the scenery!
