I loved the hike. Only went as far as the reservoir because we started late. Go early to avoid the heat because you’ll need it for the incline areas. It was a “good” hard hike. The difficulty was due to the incline at altitudes of 10,800. But we’ll worth the challenge...you will say that at the end. Careful bringing dogs..,lots of rock I would believe to be hurtful on there pads.

Nice hike but it was very warm on Saturday even at those altitudes. Not much if a waterfall this time of year.

Great evening hike close to Denver. Went Monday evening and there were few others on the trail. Cool view of Red Rocks

Gorgeous scenery/views, opportunities to climb boulders, and several streams and some small waterfalls. It was awesome. People really need to stop leaving bags of dog poo around, though; there’s bags everywhere! It’s littering and definitely not ok. But other than that, a great trail! It’s tough though, lots of rocky, uphill terrain. Great workout!

Wow what gorgeous views!!! But the Hard rating on this was definitely deserved, mostly due to the last 2 miles or so are steep and technical. Gorgeous wildflowers and views the entire time, some tree coverage for the first mile- mile and a half. Definitely start early for parking and avoiding the afternoon storms!

Great views. Steep in parts

Some people say this hike isn't strenuous. Maybe with just a day pack it's not. If you plan on backpacking in, it's very strenuous. The views from the upper lake are incredible. Apparently, CO has a statewide fire ban. If you plan on staying the night, bring a gas burner (jet boil or similar). There was very little mud along the trail and the temps were 70ish during the day and low 40's over night. The first 1 mile is mostly downhill. The last 4 miles are uphill.

Great hike but tricky. Mega incline technical footing. Trail starts at the parking area near the lake. Walk around the lake by the picnic tables and ascend from there. It does not start at the visitors center mentioned below. Start early as it rains in the afternoon

I went on this hike for the "waterfall" and I don't even get how that is considered a waterfall, I could make a better one in my backyard with a hose.

Wow, this was one of the fun trails I've done in the past! Unfortunately my phone died while I was recording. The weather was perfect for it, (72F, cloudy) so we were able to handle 90% no share trail was not too bad.

This was a really fun hike with little kids. Lots of fun rocks to climb in and pretty views at the top. We did part of the Bison Overlook Trail too to make the hike a bit longer.

My daughters, 7 and 10 hiked this trail with me. It was steep, we took lots of breaks and there are some very narrow parts of the trail. The view from the top is beautiful and worth the hike.

Trail was nice, gradual incline with lengths of exposed and shade. Lots of creek spots for the pup to get a drink and cool her paws. The mountain bikers kind of ruin this trail though. I usually went on odd days but made the mistake of going on an even day with more bikers and was told multiple times that I, as a hiker, must have a death wish being there on an even day and had no business being out hiking. I always step out of bikers ways plenty in advance and think we should be able to share but apparently the bikers here think they own the place and aren’t afraid to say so. I wish they would make the odd/even days to be bikes and no bikes instead of always bikes and bikes with a directional rule.

Beautiful, easy to follow trail! Amazing views almost the entire time and the trail is surrounded by colorful wildflowers right now. Highly recommend

I loved this trail! Went 7/13 in the morning. We took our time, taking in the beautiful scenery and got some great photographs. The views and wildflowers are incredible right now. My dog thoroughly appreciated the little bit of snow left over on the ridges that he could roll in. Obviously there is significant elevation gain, but I wouldn't call much it it steep or too difficult. Just pick a slower pace and keep on going! It's definitely worth it at the top. If you're not totally beat at the top, I'd encourage you to go just a bit further down on the other side of the peak. You won't be disappointed!

Good workout. Amazing views. I went on a Friday morning and it wasn’t too crowded. I’ll be doing it again.

Wildflowers are amazing right now! Great hike in spite of hour or so of rain, sun broke out just in time. At first wasnt sure which path to take to get to upper lake because there are a few forks all at once... go with the "middle-ish" one that passes an abandoned camp stool, easy to follow after that.

Our first 13er and was a great choice. Staying in Winter Park made a 15 minute drive to the trailhead nice. Went at 6 am on a Thursday. Saw about 12-15 people on the trip. I’m from sea level and at times had to stop and rest but made it up in 1:40. Down was slower than expected but took our time. When you get to the switchback on the fire road where the sign is located, go left. Can’t miss the trail.

Beautiful trail - definitely steep in some parts. There's no real rest from the climb - from the parking lot, it's uphill to the top. It was a moderate to tough hike for me, and I like to think I'm a pretty decent hiker. Beautiful view at the top. There seems to be some confusion about where the trail starts - take the service road up .85 mile. There will be a trail off to the left, marked by a sign that says Mt. Flora trail. I logged right at 7 miles, but I wandered around at the top a bit (it's probably closer to 6.7, out and back). I also showed closer to 2k elevation gain.

Beautiful morning hike. Loved the sun playing peak-a-boo through the trees. Water is really low right now so not a lot of water on the falls.

Great for running, or for an intro to Colorado trails. Definitely evidence of higher traffic, but great on a weekday. Very close to a beautiful lake in Evergreen. Nice to have a creek running alongside the trails for the dogs to cool off in.

It depends on which trail you do. The North Table Loop is more of a great walk than hike, but once I got around the backside of the mountain, I got on the Mesa Top Trail and had some incline. There isn't any shade, so go early! The Mesa is beautiful and there are many birds and butterflies.

I did this hike in the fall and it was a little foggy and misty which made it that much cooler and eerie. Steep uphill on the way up but much easier on the way down.

Great hike! I went on 7/7 and got to the trailhead by 7:25Am. Definitely recommend going early. I had the trail mostly to myself the whole way up. It was pretty windy but not terrible. An easier moderate hike. Definitely some harder spots but it’s mostly rolling hills. The trail starts on a service road and you’ll reach a sign that is kinda confusing because it says Mount Flora in both directions. Don’t take the service road and instead go straight on the footpath. Great views of wildflowers. I even saw mountain goats!

This is a great mid trail for a day hike. Take water and a camera.

I’m sure the trails are great when it’s cool. It’s pretty easy to navigate. There are some harder sections with incline, but also flat sections to catch your breath. BUT there is pretty much NO SHADE. So currently, in this heat wave. Do not do this trail.

Definitely worth the views for such a short hike! Even only 3 miles up is gorgeous. There are definitely parts that are steep but not too bad. We made it up and back in3 hours. Make sure you don't miss the sign near the top of the service road for the right trail. We accidentally took the service road all the way up. Luckily there was another trail that took us to the summit.

Awesome hike! We went on a Saturday and it wasn’t very busy! There is a false summit about 2 miles in. I would recommend wearing hiking shoes. Another great part about this hike- parking at the berthoud pass parking lot. There are bathrooms there- but bring your own hand sanitizer! P
