Great hike with nice views - my family loves it. There is some decent birding here too. Can be heavily populated with people at times.

Beautiful rugid trail during the winter hike. The south Ridge trail is a bit rough and has some slips. they need to reopen the west bridge which is only missing 3 planks.

Not well marked but loved getting lost in it. The waterfalls, trails, springs... heavenly.

Pretty nice easy hike. I definitely enjoyed it! Did not record the whole hike because it really eats up the battery.

We did the entire perimeter loop for 12.8 miles. There were really good stretches of this hike but the two sections where you have to walk on the road to get around the lake were kind of a bummer. Not at all strenuous, beyond just a longer distance. I enjoyed it but there are much better day hikes elsewhere and prob wouldn’t come back. Trail was well marked and maintained.

Best to be there in both winter and summer. Both are very beautiful

Very well maintained trail. I really enjoyed the step stones across the creek.

like most said. lots of sights. go to the fossil overflow and see stone fossils.

fun walk by the river and through the woods.

Many good views in the fall...

Beautiful trails but not marked at all, I definitely would've been lost without the all trails app. Ended up doing 5.3 miles with my pup since we got a bit turned around but it was a beautiful day and lovely scenery/waterfalls, will definitely be back :)

Enjoyed Beautiful Fall Hike
Nice trails and well maintained
Neat stone crops, waterfalls and forest setting
Hiked 3.4 miles w dog and enjoyed lunch sitting by the creek
Life is Good ;-)

Had one of my best hiking experiences here. Yesterday was my first time there and I cannot wait to go back. So serene and the trails were definitely moderate which I enjoy. I only did 6 miles but it was great! I highly recommend this place for some great spiritual hiking.

We parked at the Pioneer Village then hiked out and back. We followed a couple other small trails on the way back to extend the hike to 5.5 total miles. The waterfall is small but cool, the rock cliff is surprisingly fun, and the lake gives great views. The trail is very clean and amazingly marked with blazes and signs.

We had a great time but my son had some problems on all the rocks and steps. Plus, there are no trail markers.

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed this hike. The trail was well maintained, and we enjoyed the scenery- lake, 2 waterfalls, limestone cliffs, a beautiful visitor’s center and the pioneer village. We encountered just a few hikers/runners, and most of the trail was away from road noise. The hills were moderate and the trail was easy to navigate. We decided we would like to do this loop again in the spring and enjoy the wild flowers.

Nice cardio if you're just getting back into it with some stunning sights. switchback paths available if you get tired partway.

I enjoy hiking with my wife nice trail we found a friend a straight cat somebody dump it in the trail and he start following us the whole trail in and out we feel bad and we took it home he was hungry

Awesome trail with some really cool sights!

Great trail, well marked!

Great wooded trail. Good waterfalls and cliff overlook. Great foliage too

This trail is a lot of fun. My kids were able to do this trail easily, but it was enough to burn off all their energy. The park is clean and very well maintained. I also like that you can combine different parts of the various trails to customize your hiking experience. My family loves hiking here and we will continue to do so, hopefully, for a long time.

Very beautiful trails with fall lookouts
Parking $5 if you park at Corry street and absolutely no trail markers
Will be lost if trying to be Adventurous
AllTrails should help to stay on trail

The trail is well managed and is as good as it gets for the area. Do yourself a favor and get there early to avoid the crowds since this is a heavily trafficked trail. Try it out in the fall when the leaves are changing.

Great trail, amazing views, nice terrain with just enough technical challenge to make it fun for the whole family.

Completed this as part of the Loop Trail. Well maintained, with a nice overlook of the creek and a swinging bridge. Pioneer village is also a wonderful place to take a break and eat some food from your pack.

Absolutely fantastic scenery, was continuously surprised all the way around. At times you are right up next to the water, and other times in the thick of the woods. The eastern half felt more remote. Can link up this route with the George Loop trail to avoid some of the road travel. Very well maintained route - quite possibly the best day hike in Ohio.

A lot to be loved about this trail. Lots of hills and beautiful scenery. The trail is wide enough and clearly marked--at ALL places so basically impossible to get lost. I gave it 4 stars because of the mud. It hasn't rained in 2 days so I assumwd it would be fine. But there is about a 1 mile section on the Yellow/Orange trail that was pure mud. Like being on a slippery, ice skating rink of mud. I don't really care that it coated my Hiking shoes, but there were moments when it was so difficult to not slip and fall down. So if you hike this trail, I think you will have a great time but prepare for mud if it has rained within the past few days.

This area I beautiful but there are zero trail markers. The paper map is useless so make sure you have the All Trails app which helps a little. Our intention was to walk a couple of hours but got frustrated after trying to find the start of longer trails.
