Great place ❤️

Nice walk for the dog. Not many scenic areas but relaxing. Should be rated as easy rather than moderate.

We took the ring trail to witch havel which takes you to the top. We were there for about an hour and a half including about 20 minutes at the top. There are lots of other trails and you can make it a longer hike if desired. all trails are very well marked. I wouldn't say it's an "easy" hike but we are beginners and we did it no problem

Very nice. Just exactly what our family of four needs for an afternoon of exercise.

This is a stunning hike but make sure you've come properly prepared. It can be 70°- 80° at the trailhead and 40° at the summit. Hypothermia is a serious possibility if you are drenched in sweat and don't have the right clothing at the summit.

This trail is mostly stairs which can be extremely taxing.

There are several waterfalls and overlooks but it might be too cloudy to see anything.

Beautiful, easy, relaxing! Beautiful view with easy access to it. Great for kids. Great for running, walking, off road biking, snow shoeing. All season fun!

Edit to my other post: the whole route is not closed, just the route to the left from the parking lot. Sorry for any confusion.

This route is closed as far as I know. There is a house being built here and the only way up the mountain is the fire tower loop towards the right of the parking lot. Still a good hike but a bummer that section has been cut off. Hopefully there will be some rerouting?

nice and easy trails that lead to a beautiful waterfall!

Great hike! Amazing Rocks & Boulder climbing Mecca! Not much of a lookout, trees blocking view.

yay finding mushrooms

Great hike up. Really easy climb and great views at the top. There's a fire tower to climb. I think it took me an hour round trip.

My boyfriend and I did this hike yesterday, and it is DEFINITELY a HARD terrain but it is unbelievably worth it. There are about 3 waterfalls on the way up! And the view at the top is remarkable. If you’re contemplating this hike, saddle up and do it

good walk with the dog. other dogs off leash made it more difficult. not much water for the falls but balancing Rock is cool.

Good for small kids.

This park provides a nice combination of tall woodlands, farmland views and riverside vistas. The River Run and Bridal Loop trails will give you a full sweep of the park, but there are multiple short trails running east-and-west between them if you want to cut the hike short. There are a couple of small climbs but it’s mostly flat trekking. A nice afternoon getaway.

What a Beautiful piece of property!!! I’m a beginner and some spots were a tiny bit challenging for me!! (I’m 60

I must be old. My Yorkie and I were exhausted! Great place.

Not a bad little trail if you want a couple of hours to kill nothing hard about it.

This is a nice leisurely trail. It is good for a short quiet walk. The reason for 3 stars is because there is no easy access to the pond for the dogs and thus they get very dirty. Overall decent spot though.

Back to hike the red loop! One pretty steep section, but otherwise a great couple miles in the woods with plenty of stops along the water as you head back upstream toward the falls. Also took a spoke out on a trail marked with bars like the Dutch flag; decided to turn around and head back to the red loop when the trail became too steep for small children.

One of my favorite hikes. Easy and kid friendly. The brows are terrific!!

Very nice setting and great area at the falls to let the pup go on for a swim.

Hiked Ring Trail to Witch Hazel then Blueberry Bluff to Ring Trail back down; easy and enjoyable. It took us about an hour round trip including exploring the Big A trail around the summit.

Great hike, nice views for such a short trip.

When you reach the first junction or point where you decide to go the the fire lookout or take the bypass you need to go up the steep incline straight ahead. Do not go to the left. Once you get up a ways on that steep incline you will begin to see the white diamond shaped markers on the trees that line the trail. It is very well marked and signed beyond that first intersection. Good hike, great views.

So the map for this one is no longer accurate, or is soon to change. While we were there the other day we noticed a posting from the state saying that parts of the trail were going to be closed due to trails being damaged by hikers and getting washed out. It was the part from the last parking lot that headed around the lake. We were very disappointed when we got there to find that the little bridge over the water had been removed. I guess we could have hopped over to the other side since the concrete foundations were still there and close together. The other trails here were really nice but a bit long.
