Very nice landscape! Did in 2h:20 in mid-September.

Easy trail, somewhat protected with a gentle ascent, barely noticeable once you are on the trail. Only tricky part is getting down to the creek just before you get to the falls. Rocks are a little slick and you just need to be careful. Crossing the creek is easiest if you just get your shoes a bit wet. Gala are gorgeous and be really careful if you decide to head up to the falls.

Beautiful reward but the hike is hard. It took us about 5 hours round trip. The first switchbacks are easier than the second which are very steep. The last half mile is flat, but it’s all sand so still not the easiest.

A long steep trek up the canyon wall, but the views get better at every turn. There is a slight respite while going through Echo Canyon. The walls close in around you and the sandstone formations are beautiful. After Echo Canyon it’s back to the climb and increased exposure but nothing too bad. A short walk along the plateau and you arrive at the best views of Zion Canyon as you look down on Angels Landing. The long descent can be tough on the legs but worth the effort

Great National Park.

The views are as good as it gets! We hiked on Labor Day, so lots of hikers and dogs. Not terribly strenuous and only took a few hours. The water at the lake above was cold and refreshing to swim in. I’ll definitely hike again with my dog.

Not my favorite hike, but it’s nice. It’s a pretty busy trail but the waterfall at the end is fun.

A very difficult hike, but so rewarding!

We loved the hike and the tour! We took our 3 year old and 1 year old and they loved it.

amazing hike. it was 17 miles though... def not 13.9. beautiful, great weather, great trail. loved it!

Hiked this on Sept 7th. Camped at Emerald Lake. Left trailhead at 4 pm. Reached lake by 7. Lots of vertical gain. A few streams near the start give you an opportunity to fill up on water. Highly recommend. From there, the next source is Emerald Lake. Was merely a pond on the 7th; it will dry up. Very few people this late in the day; beautiful. Camped. Next day - traversed to the saddle. Left pack at saddle. Took me two hours to summit from Emerald Lake. Gorgeous views of the Salt Lake Valley and the Wasatch Wilderness. Well worth the mental and physical challenge of the steep vertical, and relentless switchbacks.

Important to realize Emerald Lake is not a part of this trail. Must go well out of the way for water, and as I said, would be surprised if the lake makes it much longer. Bring more water than you need.

The best hike at Zion! Start early and bring water. 90% of the trail is switchbacks. Took around 4-5hrs (hiking time), but who is counting, just get to the top. Worth every step!

This trail is definitely easy, but super beautiful. I did it on my way through Moab and it was barely out of the way. A great way to stretch your legs and most of it was in shade so even though we did it mid afternoon it was still enjoyable.

Great hike. We had to go up the “gulley” since a marvelous full grown bull moose decided to block the trail. There was no way to convince the big guy to move.

Easy hike and so beautiful!

Favorite hike! I’ve done it 7 times and it’s a new experience every time.

Left at 3am from Timpanooki parking and made the summit at 8:30am. The sun came up right at the meadows at 7am. The wind at the Sandle wasn’t too bad with the sun up. Great and difficult hike.

is nice place

One of my favorite hikes the way up is amazing and the caves are even cooler!

very fun the donut was a hike to get to though.

Amazing hike, dogs loved it. Great views. Not much water when we went.

Awesome hike. Not hard not easy. Lots of places for catching breathe. Go before 8am if u want it to your self.

Difficult with lots of climbs and switchbacks, pretty long trail. But the scenery is beautiful along the way, and observation point is beautiful!

So hard but the views were worth it!

solid hike that will get the blood pumping on the way up and the reward at the top is worth the work. lots of people and the trail is mostly sand or sand covered rock, not particularly enjoyable on a steep incline/decline.

Very challenging hike. Agree with others that there was lots of mule dung, but it didn’t really bother myself or my husband. However, we both grew up near farms in the country. The sand was difficult to hike up. Every aspect of the trail was beautiful. We especially liked the trail past the bridge because it was cliff side hiking which made it even more fun. The spring was a trickle and the restrooms were closed which was unfortunate. We both loved all parts of this trail. Wish we could have went further and camped.

I loved this Hike! It took 2 hours on Labor Day. There weren't too many other people on the trail. spectacular views descending from the highest point in the park. Nothing was flat--all up or down. One of the highlights of our trip. I would not want to take small kids on this one.
