One of my favorite places on my road trip to Colorado this year! So gorgeous and easy trails to relax but enjoy the outdoors. Warning it is very crowded!!! Fun places to boulder or even rock climb!

Simple hike with a clear path and beautiful views at the top. There's a place to sit and overlook the whole city if you continue on and over some rocks. Doesn't take long to summit!

It was a really nice trail but came across several Prairie Rattlesnakes on the path. So I would just be careful and vigilant. Took 2 of our dogs and they had a blast!

Great little workout

there are a couple trailheads and I had trouble finding them. there are a few that have a small parking lot and then there's one at the end of a street. So there are a few ways to enter. The trail leads all over the place and it's hard to determine which way to go but if you follow the map you should be able to get there. There were only a few people there when I went and nice views.

Overall a great place to hike; not too difficult and early in the morning it's not crowded. There are some people who don't keep their dogs on a leash and who don't pick up after them.

Like everyone else has said it looks very underwhelming at first but once you get to the formations it's definitely a cool place to see. The park is small and it's more walking then hiking. Nice place to stop for a couple hours.

Lots of people, but worth it because beautiful and unique rock formations. Make the trip if in the area. And it’s free.

Gorgeous! And easy with kiddos.

Great hike with many trail options ranging in difficulty. Watch out for rattlesnakes!

It’s pretty cool. The park is a lot smaller than I thought it would be. Don’t need to go again, but glad I got to see it.

easy workout with beautiful view. fun hangout and yoga stop at the top

A good short hike, very dog friendly! Went on a Friday afternoon and it was moderately trafficked with kids, dogs, and humans!

Such a great hike in the middle of the city! A little hot in the open stretches so bring lots of water. Wonderful views, you forget you are in the middle of town.

Short and sweet then off to the bar for lunch.

beautiful trail made a video of my short time there https://youtu.be/8a5jucNNMN4

A good family trail. First trail with our 4 month old in a front facing carrier and he tolerated one hour of hiking.

I wish i could give it more stars because we love this place for walking our dogs. It’s nicer in the late winter/ early spring because it gets too crowded in the summer with not many places left to park. It’s also very scenic once you go past the immediate area around the entrance and the lake. The only reason I give it so little stars is because someone we know had their car windows smashed and everything stolen out of it when he was there for roughly an hour during daytime. There were plenty of people around who could have called the police about it or something, but nobody seemed to care at all as it wasn’t their car or stuff... Needless to say, we won’t be going there anytime soon.

Great for an easy evening run/hike, or nature walk with kids. Only downside- trails not marked well.

The trail is easy until reaching the base of Pulpit Rock, when the trail begins a quick rocky ascent. We scrambled up some steep loose rocks to reach the top and were rewarded with a 360 view that included Colorado Springs and Pike’s Peak. We took the long way down the back side of the Rock which required traversing a narrow rocky, sometimes steep path. The trails are not marked, so we wondered at times if we were on the right path....we were! Total: 2.7 very HOT miles...temp 91 degrees and most of the hike was in full sun.

Beautiful views. Brought my 6 and 8 year olds and they did great. There are 4 or 5 narrow spots with steep drop offs, but as long as your kids listen and follow directions they will be fine. But, if you have kids that tend to run ahead or don’t listen well, then you might want to skip this one. Mostly uncovered sunny trail but areas of shade to find a spot to take a break if needed.

This is a terrific trail system with many offshoots. Make sure to take any of them, you really can't get lost and it makes the run, hike or bike almost limitless. Worth the trip!

Easy hiking. At first, I was underwhelmed, seeing mostly whitish rock formations. Later, we came to beautiful gold, burnt orange, and pinkish red “painted rocks”. Definitely worth a stop off the main road for a nice walk. It is a little hot and dry back among the rocks...take a bottle of water.

I was underwhelmed at first, a easy trail and decent views. Then, I got to the main rock area!!! It is gorgeous! I spent probably two hours wandering around in the formation, could have spent more. Super pretty, bring a camera for sure. Definitely an easy trail, could wear sandals.

Nice that it’s so accessible, frustrating that trails are hard to follow - partly due to very poor signage and partly due to inherent difficulty with trails that pass over rocky outcropping. Tried this loop 5 times and actually stayed on the intended path twice.
