Easy and flat trails in the valley. We visited in the afternoon and didn’t meet any animals. Not a good timing

We did this trail last December. Ended up being about 13 miles round trip from where we had to park, but totally worth it. Gorgeous in the summer, but if you can brave it and don't mind the wind, do this in December-March. The snow makes the hike a good bit harder, but provides an unbelievable view once you reach the lake. Doing this again on 09/23 with the doggos this time!!

Fun hike! between mile markers 18 & 19 off squaw pass road. Beautiful views at top!

Amazing hike and just the right amount of distance to keep the rest of the day open for more adventures!
Got to the upper lot around 630am and there were about 4 other cars there from folks backpacking and also starting early. The first quarter of the drive from the lower to upper lots is the worst of the entire part but it is nothing compared to how bad Grays and Torreys road is. Just take it slow on the bad parts. Even though the lower lots were jammed up, there were a few spots at the top when we finished around 10am.
Great colors with the fall foliage change on the bushes as well as the trees. Silver Dollar Lake(middle lake) was amazing and Murray Lake was about 300ft of elevation gain from there. Dont skip the third lake! There is a rock formation on one side that can be hiked from the backside which will give you a great topside view of the landscape.
As most hiking at this time, start as early as you can! The next few weeks will be jam packed with folks looking at the changing trees. This trail would be incredible with a little snow on the ground.

Short, great views of the falls.

Arrived 7:15am on a Monday in September. Only 3-4 other cars in the lot and saw no one else on the trail until we hit Isabelle. Water level is low (drained)but it was still a worthwhile hike and there’s still a decent amount of water left. A lot more foot traffic heading up to the lake when we were heading out. Back at the parking lot at 10:30am and lot was full with cars circling to find a spot. Easy hike-the elevation gain comes right before the lake.

Beautiful views for a not-so-difficult hike! It gets a little steep so I'd say be careful bringing visitors here if they're not acclimated to the altitude. Pair this with Squaw Mountain for about 7 miles.

Easy Hike, park on the side of the road. Hike has many exposed area and some shady areas. wear sunscreen. Summit is amazing. No bathrooms anywhere on this trail, plenty of nature

Great hike - semi quiet going up around 8:30am - lots of good flat parts with few rocky areas. Good forest, mountain and lake views. Parking near trailhead was full so parked at the Brainard Lake lot (past the pay area) so overall mileage out and back was closer to 7.3-7.5 miles.

Do this trail!!! Such beautiful views for not much effort. The scrambling at the end is really fun!

My car doesn't have AWD so I parked at the lower lot. When I arrived at 7:45am on Saturday there was still plenting of parking spaces. This trail packs a lot of great views in its short length. I found this trail easy except for the short but steep climb to the third lake, which is worth it for the views from the top. I recommend coming early to this hike, when I left at 10:30am the trail and the parking lots had become very crowded.

Nice relaxing hike with beautiful scenery, scenic overlooks and wildflowers. The second half of the hike is above the tree line.

Make sure you go all the way to the third lake.

Lovely alpine foliage on the trail as well as the drive up. Would recommend as a summit option for anyone not used to the altitude like myself. I paused to catch my breath several times but managed to make my way up in 50 minutes with the steady, moderate incline (656ft/mile). Pretty crowded on a Friday late morning but most trails in Colorado seem to be that way. Enjoyed the scramble at the top, very windy! Stellar 360 views.

Fantastic hike with gorgeous pay off. beautiful the whole way.

Nice, pretty easy trail. Good for when you want to get out in the woods but aren't looking for anything strenuous.

Great trail. Easy to get to (even with detour) and we hiked to top of the falls and saw another hiker swim in the river!

Very rocky but great trill

Beautiful, scenic trail! After parking and walking around the lake, it came to 7.3 miles on my Apple Watch. Very busy trail.

I’ve done this trail twice now and it’s a favorite. It is easy to miss the trailhead because it’s not marked but watch for a long narrow, paved pull out and you shouldn’t miss it! The views from the top are beautiful especially with the leaves changing colors. Pockets of gold are all across the mountains. Trekking poles help as it is a pretty steady climb. The rock scramble at the top is fun!

We loved this hike! The colors were brilliant today, the hike is a little steep but so worth it. The falls at the end are spectacular!

Silver Dollar Lake was beautiful and definitely tested my lungs! Be careful because there are a few spots where the trail becomes slightly unclear, but thanks to this app, we did not get lost! You will realize it very quickly if you start veering off course anyways. There was a river at a few different points and three lakes along the way to the top! When you get to the second lake, you have the option to continue onto the third, and it is totally worth it if you are willing to exert your lungs! (I have asthma, so it was challenging, but definitely do-able!) This third lake offers a great spot to hang out for a bit and eat lunch! On our way down, we saw 4 wood peckers! I got some great up close shots of them that I will upload later. There are not a ton of aspens on this hike, but there are on the drive to the trail head. The hike also does include lots of bushes that have changed to an orange color which provide great fall color!

started from bear lake to lake haiyaha to alberta falls to glacier gorge shuttle stop. don’t get me wrong, the hike was beautiful, just didn’t find the falls too impressive. maybe it would have been different if i looped the other way?

It was an ok trail. I did this yesterday. Hard to find. Only parking is along side of road, so not the safest. This was a steady incline over mostly rocks the whole time. Wouldn’t really say this is easy though if you’re not in fairly decent shape. I struggled because of constant incline and navigating rocks. However my dogs loved it. The drive up was beautiful though with all the leaves changing.

I arrived at 7:15 am on a Wednesday, I was the only one there. The trail is not obvious but if you scan the other side of the road you'll see it. Like others have said, its incline all the way but not a long hike. Saying its easy is relative though. The most difficult part is following the trail because at times you wonder where the trail goes. The top is a big out crop of rocks. Before you arrive at the top, the trail vanishes and you'll have to climb up the rocks. Going down from the top I had trouble finding the trail but this was my first time. I was all alone at the top, a special experience. There's definitely something magical at the top.

This is an absolutely beautiful trail. Lake Isabelle was really low, but it didn't matter at all. It felt like we were on a movie set. It was a great, easy hike. Definitely go during the week. We had no issues parking or with overcrowding. Coming from Texas, the heat doesn't bother us. We got there around 3P. It's very shaded so the sun wasn't an issue.
