Better have gps, trail markings very poor...

Great trail, but the leaves made the rocks pretty slippery!

Just beautiful. Refreshing. Serene

I’ve been hiking this trail since I was a little girl and it is always my go to favorite! Nice trail with great views of the valley, easy and fun!

It has a little bit of everything.

Nice views even in a winter day. A couple spots are a bit rocky but that's the fun.
Probably it's easier to start going south / left from the trailhead and do the loop.

Nice hike with a few lively views

been going there for over 30 years great hike!@

Great hike and view at the peak. There’s a man made rock formation you can climb on top and get a great view of at the peak. Went today and am glad we took others’ advice and went up Pleasant Lane Trail. We barely made it up it was so icy and a little dangerous, couldn’t imagine it being possible to make it down due to it being covered in ice. If you go out and back using the Appalachian it is pretty gradual the whole time, awesome hike.

This is a go-to trail when you need to get out in nature for a bit. Not too long and yet includes mild terrain changes, pond views, forest walk and some flat land as well. You can tell local folks really love this park as it is preserved and maintained well. Includes offshoot trails for higher heights and gorgeous overlooks.

after moving to this side of the connecticut river from Manchester, I was looking for a local hike comparable to case mountain. what a gem this place is. 10 minute drive from where I live and more than enough of a challenge to make it an experience worth having every time. love this mountain.

Great mountain, gorgeous views

beautiful views year round

Many reviews had stated that the trails were poorly marked however I am assuming they were recently repainted because all of the trails we hiked were clearly marked.

The initial ascent can be challenging but the two outlook vistas are worth it! The trail recorded for this seems off and we had to jump onto the Ross Trail to get back to the Gerard Trail on the way down. Stop to enjoy the waterfall if it has rained recently.

Great hikes; fantastic views of most of CT

Multiple views and it was nice to Boulder/climb at Twin Boulders for a bit. They’re located just beyond the 2 viewpoints along the trail. After the initial 1/3 of the circuit the rest is pretty flat and quick to complete.

Hiked this today. Icy up top be careful. Beautiful view and nice and cold just the way I like it.

Hiked there today after a heavy rain last night until this morning.. water was flowing! Awesome.. hikes into woods and grabbed the orange marked trail then ventured off here and there.. went towards devils oven rocky and steep lots of voids under rocks wouldn’t personally do it in summer could b good spot for snakes..went back down and continued on orange trail didn’t hike whole trail but have plans to go back great hike well
Marked good views

Nice hike.. walked over 691 with foot bridge and took the blue trail up to paved road. Lots of nice views. Walked paved road back to Hubbard park.. was a long walk back wasn’t sure if we went right way back or not but was happy when we made it back to park.. would deff home again

A nice lil hike, steep Incline till it evens out real nice peaceful walk, unfortunately it is close to homes that you can see while hiking,

Very nice trail. Nice colors.

Great hike, Idk what people are talking about. I thought the orange blazed trails were marked fine. I loved the waterfall and the running streams through the trail. A little bit of a workout but very peaceful.

This trail was really fun! Lots of good views, some good scrambling at times. Good amount of mud, plenty of rocks to walk across though.

Markers need repainting. Beautiful gorge! Ice formations were great!

Greats views

This is an out and back trail that has evolved into a loop, there are no more red blazes after you reach the top, there is a pretty well defined path and you can follow the map on this app.
I've been living close to sea level for a while so this one left me huffing and puffing a few times, not used to climbing.

One of my favorite hikes !... this hike will not disappoint !! ... great look out points
