A really awesome trail with great views. It would certainly be a 5 star review if the trails were marked better. Very easy to get lost. I have The AllTrails Pro and it bailed us out a couple of times.

Beautiful place. I took a left on to a single track trail after a few hundred feet of gravel trail. It paralleled the highlighted rout above and let to the same tower lookout. Then continued on the m&m trail to Hartford rez no 6 for a swim!

nice trail

Is this actually 9m?? I am struggling to see more than 6

Nice trail that is interesting; good for beginners or those looking for a fun easy hike.

Quite a picturesque hike with plenty of views, but difficult to follow the trail markers, and most of the maps along trail heads are missing.

Short, fun hike up the mountain to the very scenic Heublein Tower. Definitely go early to avoid crowds and leave some time to explore the Heublein Tower complex.

I did this hike with a friend for the first time and really got an intense workout. Such beautiful views overlooking the reservoir. Some rocky and steep inclines and we ended up a bit lost until we used our handy dandy map offered with this app to guide us back. We hiked a good 3+ hours and felt invigorated.

for the casual hiker it's a bit harder but worth the workout.

Beautiful place. First quarter of a mile gets your heart pumping. The rest is a lovely stroll through the woods. Views are wonderful.

Beautiful area and really nice trail. If you walk off the path a bit you can find some great and safe cliff jumping areas, very beautiful views too!

Good easy walk. No steep inclines or descents. Excellent for leisurely walkers or baby strollers. The canal/river makes for some pretty views.

Nice short hike. Lots of greens and nice views from the top. Perfect for a family with a picnic (picnic tables at the top) or for a runner looking for some elevation.

This was my first Solo hike and first hike I have done in about 8 years, it was easy enough for me. The trail was clean and clearly marked. The markers were clear and easy to read as long as you knew what you were looking for (make sure to Google how trail markers work if you are new). The terrain was mostly easy, there were a few parts that you had to climb up or down some rocks but nothing strenuous. it is a bit rocky in some spots but I was fine in a pair of all terrain shoes.

Definitely an amazing hike. If you’re new to trails the first .25 miles is a bit much because it’s steep but it’s really beautiful. Seeing the hueblin tower at the end is a perfect edition to the trail.

Ideal for point A-B trail runs. Hoping it lives up to its name and I spot some wild hops.

The place is really nice and scenic, but forget mountain biking...all the trails say no bicycles...you can only bike on the paved road going to the back parking lot. I don't get it. I WALKED some of the trail with my bike, and I see no reason why no bikes. ?? If someone knows why, please comment. It's no different than a Rails-to-Trails ride, just a small bit rougher. Otherwise, will be back to walk, not bike :-(

love coming here. nice paved paths, picnic areas, places to stop and let dog take a quick dip. great for steelers and bikes. everyone always friendly.

I am a beginner hiker and was recommended this trail by a friend that does it often-he gave me great directions. I wanted to have a bit of a challenge without the anxiety, and this trail was perfect. As long as you have a plan going in and pay attention to the very well marked trail, you will have an awesome experience and feel very accomplished at the end. I took blue/red to blue/yellow to blue/ and picked blue/red back to the opening. Stopped to have lunch on the summit right after I picked up the blue trail. Was still done in about 3 hours.

A favorite nearby, a little longer, trail. So many beautiful views and stops along the ridge. Fun times.
We went Clockwise from Wigwam. A little confusing after the pan handle, I'm calling it the Bermuda triangle. Followed a steep rocky river bed up to Blue Orange back to parking. next time taking the cut through, short cut back.

Very nice :) My sister is not so experienced so it was tough for her to get through all the rocks, but the view was worth it and we took the orange/blue trail after the reservoir to shorten the hike. It was well-marked and the app helped a lot! Bring a lunch, lots of water, and good shoes! 4 hours, with the shortcut.

had a wonderful walk. great for bikes or walking. bring big spray though.

Good walk not hike really following the trail there is less pavement which is nice.

The views and difficulty level were definitely worth it BUT the trails were not well marked and this made it very difficult. I would highly recommend turning your location on and using this app/the compass feature if you actually want to follow the red/blue trail all the way through. Hike took about 4.5 hours.

Nice walk, good for all levels. Great place to socialize your dogs.

This would be better if I wasn’t chased by a terrifying man the last time I was there

just ok. wide open trails, not much elevation change. view of Hartford is nice. the case mountain park however is much larger than this trail, and a little research will show miles of trails all the way to the gay city park and beyond

This is one of my favorite walks/runs locally. Always peaceful, easy going very fellow walkers.
