The trail is absolutely beautiful along the waterfall! It was super icy today so micro-spikes were needed!
what a majestic hike. unbelievable we were the only ones here. I could sit and be close to GOD for hours. it makes me love my time with mi Hermosa Esposa all the more. " Did it".
I was a little muddy but the views were simply incredible.
Easy short hike with amazing views of the falls.
Even a few days post holiday rainfall and snow melt, the falls were in full force. A little slippery on the way up due to ice that doesn't see sun and some muddy spots on the way down on the opposite side (red) kept us on our toes. Was great to be there on a day without crowds.
There’s an epic amount of water flowing two days after the Christmas rain and snow melt. Each viewpoint would make for its own epic waterfall, the fact that there’s so many stops make this a must see park. A little icy but not bad. My favorite waterfall in CT by far!
Beautiful and not busy on a chilly week day. Best views on main trail up. Appreciated gentle yellow trail down to be kind to my knees.
Decent waterflow during a rainy day. A little slippery, but nice and easy hike.
Super guay!
Easy, short hike. Pretty views of the waterfalls, they have the walkway built nicely so you can get close.
Nice early walk
Busy trail but worth taking the hike for the pictures.
Nice trail, pretty short but very beautiful in the fall
one of my favorite places in Connecticut, just seeing the waterfall make it a worthwhile trip.
This is a review from the past. Tried to return in 2020, but it has been closed. Parking fee I believe was $15 even if you’re from CT. Went into Kent for the day instead when this happened. Beautiful waterfall in the beginning and great spots for lookout. Scenic and uphill. Short and sweet. Great photo spot, but up to you if you want to pay money for a hike.
Absolutely iconic place!
Beautiful little waterfall! Easy hike. This was one of our stops on our NE fall tour. Easy stop, enough to stretch your legs and walk your dog while enjoying the lovely park.
Couldn’t record for some strange reason, but this place is amazing! I love it here.
Captivating entrance and you see the falls immediately from the parking lot. Unfortunately, there’s not much water due to the relatively dry summer season. If you go through the covered bridge and just follow the stairs all the way up, you get to the Kent Falls Brook. I kept going past the stairs and ended up on Dugan Road. I didn’t want to go back the way I came so I crossed the brook over some rocks to take the yellow trail back to the parking lot. There’s a steep rocky descend towards the end of the yellow trail.
Just visited the day it opened after being closed due to COVID. Was not packed at all. Short and sweet!
Closed? Not sure what that means, lol.
Not much of a hike, but one heck of a view.
Love Kent Falls! The waterfall is spectacular! Steep hike up. But my kids could make it up because there are some steps as you get closer to top. Theres a picnic area at entrance and you can bring your dog.
