Short trail along a creek. Some board walking before trail to falls. There wasn’t a lot of water over falls so we will be back after a rain. Be sure to check out the Pocket Loop that goes up service road to top of falls. #anothernewtonadventure

Closed for deer hunting with little warning. Signs were small, poor and missed. Thankfully someone at the parking lot was warning people. Apparently theres a hunt in Oct and another in Nov. We traveled from out of town for the hike so it was a big disappointment. Be warned for fall hikes here. Look up hunting seasons first.

Loved it! There was no water coming over the falls. But, it was a short easy hike. The boardwalk was beautiful, and there were lots of cool rock formations to climb around on. There’s even a tunnel in the rocks, and a trail that goes along the face of the wall and takes you to the top of the falls, should you so desire. I’m sure it’s pretty spectacular when there has been lots of rain. Very enjoyable. Keep your eyes open though. We did see a baby copperhead about 10 feet off the trail, sunning himself next to the water.

First part is an easy boardwalk. If you want to go all the way to the falls it is rocky and narrow, but short and relatively flat. My toddlers (ages 1 & 2) loved splashing in the pockets of the falls and I enjoyed hopping around and climbing the falls with them.

Took our 3 year old and 9 month old in a ergo carrier since it was labeled easy. This trail has a flat wooden board walk easy for anyone and wheelchairs but to get to the rocks falls you’ll need to be able to climb up rocks. So easy on the boardwalk and moderate for the actual off trail hiking. The path is narrow, steep in areas, and rocky. Once you get to the falls there is little shallow clean pools that my 3 year old enjoyed splashing. Came a down pour on us coming out though and that was scary navigating with a baby strapped to my chest. Very slippery. We wore Chaco sandles and enjoyed the cool water. Highly recommend. Oh and weird one way non paved mile road you take to get to the trail. We drive a 4Runner and I’m glad we did.

I brought my boys here (age 5 & 7) because I saw several posts from friends about this hike. The boardwalk was beautiful. There are benches to rest and have a snack on. I thought the boardwalk went to the falls. It doesn't. You have to hike a little to get to the falls. The trail is narrow, steep, and rocky. It wasn't a long or hard hike, just be prepared to get your hands dirty and take your time. You can wade in the water and climb on the rocks after you leave the boardwalk. i want to come back in the fall when the leaves change and spring when the flowers are out! We were here a total of about an hour, maybe a little more.

Nice trail that isn’t to long. Long bridge halfway, then it gets muddy and rocky but well worth the two waterfalls and sounds!

Extremely easy trail! Went with my little sister and fiancé and it was the easiest one I’ve done so far. We even got to sit at the waterfall and watch the firefighters train! Extremely beautiful view and unexpected entertainment!

We took our dogs and they had a blast.. a perfect little spot to take dogs especially if it’s a dogs first time hiking. My mutt did tear his foot a little on a rock so just be careful. It was beautiful and a lot of fun. We ended up going behind the falls. Definitely will be going back again.

So lovely when the flowers are blooming. Easy walk on the boardwalk or up the hill. When the waterfall is flowing, it's so fun to walk behind it!

Boardwalk looks fantastic. All the flowers are in bloom, and now is a good time to walk behind the falls. There is currently a road closer on Hog Jawl Rd, but a detour is provided. Just follow the signs.

WoW!! Boardwalk is open, the wildflowers are in bloom and smell so good, waterfall is flowing. Amazing short walk for all ages. One of the better short hikes I have done.

Be careful with Google Maps getting to the trail. Drove 30 minutes to find out Hig Jowl Rd. is closed 1 mile (bridge replacement) before you turn to the WMR the trail is located in

Easy hike with a nice waterfall. Most of the hike is on a gravel road. It gets kind of confusing at the end where it is supposed to loop around and head back. There is no marker and it just kind of dead ends into an open field. We backtracked down the way we came and couldn’t find the loop back part of the trail. Back at the parking area, there is “wildflower” trail. When we were on it, the map indicated there we were on part of the loop back trail. A little confusing.

One of my favorite places to go. Go in March/April for the wildflowers. Use iNaturalist app to learn along the way!

The boardwalk has been fixed and the falls are beautiful after all the rain. Easy hike that is at the end of a dead end road, kid friendly and dog friendly.

A nice short walk across a wooden platform walkway. The last few steps are on trail. This water is really cool after a good rain.

A Broadway trail still closed after walking a half mile. I see tree branches fell on rest of broadway that blocked.
