Great loop if you’re in the mood to hike but not kill yourself with ridiculous incline. Beautiful views throughout but the summit by one of the falls is

Awesome hike! Went up in November 2018, trail was pretty icy / snowy but could hike it in sneakers (did a lot of butt slides on the way down). The fire tower is well worth the hike and then the climb when you reach it.

Getting to the trail head was very very bumpy and slow moving in some spots.

Did the whole loop today (middle of winter). Was difficult going through the snow, but became one of my favourite trails. Picks in incline but worth it when you get to the very top. 5/5 would recommend. Will revisit during spring.

amazing winter hike. snow was loosely packed, not icy. I hiked in just boots with good grip. get out here when the snow is fresh, it's stunning!

Excellent hike!

Hiked this trail 4 days ago. It was icy with light snow coverage. I used micros which helped a great deal. The frozen waterfall was beautiful!! A great winter hike. I look forward to doing this hike in the spring.

Really enjoyed each time we’ve visited

Challenging first 1.7 (according to Garmin watch) mile up through some ice and snow. Coming back down was gradual downhill and fun to run. Trail has some great views. We were there on a sunny winter Sunday and only came by a few other people.

A nice little trail that overlooks 7 Falls. The scenery is perfect, overlooking Manitou and Colorado Springs in the distance.

The only thing was that the trail gets very gravelly at the top of one of the slopes. With no guard rail or anything, it could take a little miss-footing to send someone over the edge of the cliff. So be careful of that.

Agree with comment below.

Returned to do the entire loop. Clocks in at 6.2 miles. Good workout, conquering the almost 1300 ft of elevation gain. Popular on the weekend, but few do the entire loop. Many sections of slippery ice/snow. I wouldn’t have felt comfortable without traction spikes, but saw some going without, although very slowly. The loop doesn’t exit where the parking/trailhead is, you need to turn right down snow-covered road to Gold Camp Rd, go up the hill to find trailhead parking. Long, challenging hike, but worth it as it is beautiful!

Nice hike with great views. First half can get snow/icy, so bring traction if you’re not “sure-footed”. Quiet during the week, popular hike on the weekend. Challenging up hill, but not hard. If you’re in decent shape, shouldn’t be a problem. Saw lots of deer. Beautiful view at the summit. Will do this trail again!

Just finished this trail today. After bridge 6 u need spikes on the shoes as it is really icy. We went 1 mile past bridge 7 and it was awesome. My hike today was 4.5 hours, 1,271 ascent and 4.7 miles total. Great day

One of our favorites in a sweet little town!

Fun hike near Denver. With half the population of the front range. Parking can fill up early.

Easy hike near Denver. Falls aren't awesome. Worth a trip to get some Vitamin N.

Nice easy trail to a good view of Cheyenne Mountain, Broadmoor, Colorado Springs and Garden of the Gods.

Beautiful trail, but it’s really easy to miss the falls. Look for the sign!

Hiked only part if this trail with my dog-going back to hike full trail! Beautiful views, moderate hike. Saw only two other hikers whole time so it was very quiet and peaceful.

Light snow on trail, very quiet, the ice of the falls had a blue hue. Great short hike through tall pines sprinkled with snow.

Hiked on Christmas Day and maybe encountered a dozen other people total. The hike is simply beautiful and challenging enough to make me feel really satisfied! The trail is very icy (dirt covered) in many places but other than that, it was clear. The falls were incredible and I’d recommend the hike!

Nice loop. Expansive views.
Walking CW the elevation change is steeper than hiking CCW.

I wish I had brought my micros so I could walk up the frozen river/streams but wouldn’t have needed them for the trail today.

Frozen waterfall was cool.. A couple slick spots but didn't need yakkies today. Would be interested to see this in spring. No big vistas.

this is a great creek trail that fallows the valley up. we did this hike with show on the ground and several frozen spots in the creek loved it.

One of the best hikes in the Springs. Not easy, but really pretty.

It was pretty, a little overrated. There are prettier hikes of that distance and difficulty at Cheyenne Canon.

long hike but well worth the veiw from the top did it in sept had nice weather

Beautiful and dynamic sights.
