This is not skyline. This is the dozer line that was opened up during the fire. Skyline is just to the north. It’s hot and steep. A good workout.

This short trek was an emotional one for me. My mother had just passed away. I went up there by myself, said a prayer by the cross, and left a flower for my mom. I took pictures and was able to see the Memorial Park where my mother rests. I'm doing it again this Sunday with my father, sister, and brother in-law.

A little paved road leading all the way up to locked gates. great view on top.

Good trail to hike up with no shade . Be sure to bee enough water during hot season, moderate hike you can run down hill after the Dobler “Big white round ball at the peak”
There’s are some fun trail along the fire road.

Live close do it often lots of people

Expansive network of trails, so SO cool :)

Trail closed until August 2019.

The trail to the mine is still CLOSED due to the fire

Paved. No fun. Barely a hike.

First time at this trail, wow what a Mountain bike play ground I’ll be back for sure.

Nice incline great view if it’s not over cast - wish people would pick up after their dogs - lots of poop on the walking path 

Wasn’t a fan of the paved road and finding parking was super hard (park at the nearby park!) but once I ventured off toward the rocks I had a much better time! Kind of reminded me of Joshua Tree for a moment. There was a bit too much trash on the trail for my liking, which was really disappointing.

bomb hike

I like to go up the sides instead of the trail. makes more of a challenge. today made it up in about 12

Awesome easy trail for fun walk.

beautiful local hike, have been bringing the kids here since they started walking...great environment to get them outdoors at a young age.

This is a great conditioning hike; about the first mile is uphill so expect a great glute/hamstring workout. The trail is paved, and leads to a utility building that is fenced off. Up and back with a little side trip to the cell tower took us 55 minutes with 2 dogs. Great view of the Hidden Valley golf course at the top. This is a lot more intense than Pumpkin Rock, but it doesn’t have any other trail options once you get to the top. Watch your dogs, as we saw a pretty beefy coyote at the top.

love this place, so does my kids and dogs

First time and it was amazing...

Great views on hot summer nights. I have plantar fasciitis so it killed my heels but there’s plenty of spots at the top to rest. Best to go around 7 or 8pm

Easy, beginner trail. Family friendly.

Took a group of senior citizens up to Cross and back. It took 90 minutes. When I go with my fit friends, it takes 30 minutes. Great conditioning hike!

Super easy and AWESOME 360 view!!! Beautiful sunset too!!! There was lots of people up there but it was suck a pretty view. And although you can get up to the top the long paved path around the mountain you can also climb straight up the side which is a little more steep.

Loved loved loved this hike !! Super fun and great views

Make sure you go straight past those rocks when you get to the hiking information board and you will find a maker called nature trail. Super easy and fun walk but lots of poison oak so just stay on the trail. One of Coronas hidden historical places. Many people probably didn’t know that that mine was here long before corona was established and before people even decided to settle here so lots of historical importance to this mine which is overlooked.
