The falls are fabulous! I found the trails a little hard to follow with all the fallen leaves and not clearly marked; however, it was a beautiful day for a walk. Next time I do this walk, I think I’ll do it before the leaves fall. We went up to the top of the tower but was not impressed with the view.

Super scenic! Easy reverse hike (downhill first). Pretty sure it’s only 1 mile total.

Pretty straight forward, crowded however in summer with a lot of of bathers in the falls! Fun for kids.

Started at Pine Knob loop and Finished at the parking area for St Johns Ledges. Nice hike for a total of 8 miles one way.

This was a great trail! Very well marked and open. Beautiful views and not too strenuous. I’m 23 and my mom is 54 and we both were fine.

A really nice day on this trail. Easy, not too many others gonna do this again when the foliage is brighter

Nice hike although many trees are down along the route so either around, over or under was a regular decision. Beautiful waterfall at the beginning of the trail.

some great views and terrain challenges

It was a nice trek while camping in copake falls

Great short hike from New York side. Impressive Falls.

A wonderful area with so many great trails. Some water crossings were required. Limited cell service in parts, so be sure to photograph map at trailhead. I am looking forward to returning often.

I enjoyed the trails but thought they were poorly marked and the trail map is very confusing. I do plan on going again to check out the other trails I missed.

A quintessential CT country walk. I’m so lucky to have Huntington State Park close by. It’s beautiful any time of the year.

Aleays a nice hike with the kids to the waterfall!

Not impressed at all. Boring. So many other beautiful places to hike/explore.

great trail, excellent for the kids. it was a hot day so the water felt great.

This section was great! For anyone looking to continue after bulls bridge beware. The trail gets pretty challenging after that until your next out at Route 341 in Kent. Annie at Back Country Outfitters was awesome! She gave us a last minute shuttle back to the trail head where we started. The ice cream is something you don’t want to pass up either.

great cardio not too hard not too easy rocky areas are not killer but definitely bring up a good sweat, excellent views very picturesque natural water flow through the mountain. recommend bug spray, very friendly people.

Great views and the waterfall is breathe taking!

horse riding, trailing running, fishing are some of the alternative offerings of this route. Scenic, east route along the river side - easy and took an hour tops which is likely why I won’t redo same trail

Beautiful!

Easy 3/4 mile stroll up to the falls. Nice falls but overrun with jackasses not heeding the no swimming or diving signs. Loud and full of humanity on a warm weekend. Nice to see it but I don't think I'll be coming back. Not as spectacular as, say, Kent Falls, and just too many people. Parking is also a mess.

Nice hike, pretty clean park. Got alot of rain recently so mosquitos were out in force but will do it again. Several campsites as well. We stayed at Mootry lookout and Danbury looked pretty good from up there.

Good hike, more buggy than I expected. Trail is pretty well defined but in some parts it is definitely not as clear, most likely due to the storm. I went off trail two times and went back to find the trail. The fire tower has an okay view, you can’t see much with all the trees in the way. Also, some parts have trees in the way that you have to go underneath/above and it’s a fun adventure. Wish the trail was better marked at some parts, but overall I really enjoyed this short and quick hike.

Excellent Place to Run! It’s my go to every morning. There are so many varieties of trails at this park it’s amazing. Depending on my mood I can so 3- 8 miles and elevations can be very challenging depending on which trail you take. There’s also the possibility of getting lost but just follow the color your sticking with or always have you mike tracker on with a map and you’ll know which way to go back in no time. The perk to this park are the amazing views within each trail. It’s definitely something that makes you want to run even more and lifts the spirit.

Really liked this spot. Lots of parking, picnic tables, and pretty views even if you just hang around the entrance. Pretty waterfalls and rock formations, and covered bridge. I did the big loop, beginning on the covered bridge part with my 12 year old and our dog. It’s a good, moderate hike that’s a little more challenging (and fun!) due to all the downed trees and tornado damage. There are a few spots where the markings aren’t super clear - we got slightly off track towards the southern part. All in all, a great spot!

Good hike, with interesting wild life everywhere

We took the red path then the blue bc I stepped on some sort of bees nest in the ground and was stung numerous times on my legs so had to shorten the trip with the blue trail, although nice Forrest views, and we came up on a Fox or coyote den under a large rock formation about 1/3 way on red trail, little startling seeing the eyes starring out at you but we had a good laugh about it. If not for the bees we would have continued the red path to the end. Definitely not for kids and some steep climbs all around.
