great little hike with a cool view. at the top go to the left and up another rock scramble to find a more secluded area. get there early because it is going to be busy.

This is a beautiful hike! Absolutely gorgeous scenery! You will cross the creek 13 times on the way in so you’ll definitely need waterproof shoes. Will definitely do again.

What an amazing view!!!!! It was a great hike to the top!

Our favorite trail in seattle. Nice lake. It gets busy specially on weekends. Finding a parking spot is very challenging. Super dog friendly. Most of the dogs are off leash. Gets really muddy so wear proper footwear. Also you can hangout and chill on the cliffs. It has a few good spots.

Enjoyable hike, but crowed. Spectacular views. Rated as moderate but has sections with significant rock climbs. Used the Baldwin/Templeton routes to access the trail, added 2 miles to the hike. Avoided the crowded trail head problem.

I loved the hike and the view but it was very busy today and it's Monday

Sunrise hike here is amazing!

A short, relatively easy hike with a big payoff! The views were better than we expected and Rattlesnake Lake was turquoise green from the top. Took us about 45 minutes up. Trail was in great condition, and there are pit toilets at the park below. The only negative part of the hike for me was the trial etiquette. Lots of music blaring (instead of enjoying the sounds of nature), litter on the trail, and loud hikers. People goof off at the top near the cliffs.

Super dog friendly! Just keep them leashed. Saw several today not leashed and owners not seeming to care that they disturbed other hikers. :/ The trail was clean, wide snd easy to navigate with a steady upward incline nearly 95% of the time. Great views from the ledge! A bit cloudy today with slight snow flurries, but it went away quickly leaving a partial view of Mt Si. Would certainly visit this trail again!

One of my absolute favorite hikes in Arizona. This hike is a go to year round and especially nice in the warm weather when you’re able to enjoy the water.

I didn’t find snow on my way to the view points today, make sure to hit the trail early

Definitely one of the best trails I have ever done. Unfortunately we had gone on a day that was forecast to rain throughout the day and it was a bad decision since we didn’t have much rain-proof gear, so it was cold and wet. Nevertheless, the views were 10/10 and would definitely go back again on a sunny day. There’s not much incline but it is a decent distance to the end of the trail and the stream crossings definitely slow you down but makes for an interesting hike.

trail running

About 70% runnable; peaceful and not crowded. Great run, except for the herd of javalinas I came upon on the way back. Definitely my least favorite part!

Beautiful trail!

Hiked to Lake 22 on Saturday and the parking lot was full and slightly icy. Had to park across the street in the entrance of the second lot, as that was completely covered in snow and a car got stuck trying to go in. The hike is really pretty easy, definitely icy and lots of snow. The lake is starting to thaw and there was a high avalanche warning, but it seemed safe to me. Super beautiful!

Hiked up the ledge and to east point yesterday, spikes would have been helpful however I did it without. You can get by without just a little slippery towards the end. Great views and met some cool people along the way.

Absolutely gorgeous hike. Creek was a little difficult to navigate as the water was high after a rain but we did it! (We’re new to hiking, age 62). We thoroughly enjoyed this.

It was a gorgeous day to be up there. From Snowqualmie it’s about 10-11 miles round trip but it’s not too bad and the elevation gain is mostly gradual. Poles are extremely help and for the best view bring snowshoes because about a mile past the Grand viewpoint is a clear cut that you can explore, it has a view of Rainier as well.

Great trail be prepared for a hike. Uphill. The scenery is amazing when u get to the top!

Beautiful day!!!

Fun hike, go early to avoid massive crowding at the top..

amazing views, snow is still present at the top of the trail. I hiked it with plain boots and no spikes or poles we're needed.

Good hike, good view. Loved the snow and elevation.

Fun, beautiful, adventurous! This was an ideal morning hike. The hike was challenging and fun, requiring lots of rock climbing. The lookouts were worth the effort!

Awesome trail! Still very icy at the top, lots of opportunities to slip and fall, so be careful and bring poles and microspikes! View at the ledge is absolutely stunning, makes the trek up well worth it.

Sunday March 4th 1:30-3:30pm
My biggest advice to anyone is to either do this hike early in the morning or late late afternoon. It is extremely crowded and for the best experience possible, do it on an “off” time. Beautiful vistas and stunning scenery this is a short but moderately strenuous climb in the sense that it is mostly up. Lots of great areas for breaks, and it is absolutely suitable for all ages. I’d suggest wearing good footwear because the rock is a little slippery. A great climb.

Love this trail. The temperature was perfect in this first weekend of March. There was a lot of snow on the ground which was a really cool contrast with the creeks and the rocks and the trees.

I love this hike . such a great workout with stunning views the whole way
