Nice trail with some good views. Still some snow and a bit of mud but definitely passable.

Just great - needed poles whenever on a south facing slope or in the trees. As always, smart to carry layers for exposed ridges as well as the descent...

Its a beautiful trail but today is so windy but we still manage to enjoy the trail. I would consider this a moderate trail. Wear a good hiking shoes.

We did the Adam’s Lake CR Connector to Harpers Trail to Adam’s Rib Trail to Sunnyside Trail and overall it’s beautiful but I don’t recommend do the trails right now. Parts are covered in knee deep snow that requires snowshoes and given it’s only sections you’d have to take them on and off. Stick to the sunny side trip loop only for now.

We arrived at 9:20AM on a Sunday and there was 1 other car in the parking lot. We walked the loop counter clockwise descending into the canyon following the rim trail and going down at the cables. The last half of the trail is a gravel road and a hot, featureless walk so I recommend it as an out and back and turn back when you arrive at the gravel road. There are a couple of beautiful swimming spots with turquoise blue water. And a nice spot to view a wide, short drop waterfall. From the fee parking area it’s a ~3.6 mile loop. The parking lot was full when we returned so an early start is recommended.

Never been so it was a great place to wander. I took the flat trail as my first half based on some feedback of other reviews and think that was best for me. very beautiful views for sure

Nice trip down into the canyon but the road back is a little bland. I would probably turn around and come backwards next time.

HikingGreat!

The trail is easy and has many options- you can go high or low. I hiked at the end of September and camped at the spots right at the trailhead. Great camping, nice potty, good trail. I honestly didn’t find the hot springs even though I went 3.5 miles in. I saw a bear and was alone and it was getting dark so I turned around but I’m sure they are beautiful. Absolutely no one else out there except I passed a group of hunters.

Always a go to fave for the quick and dirty. Rain or shine :) I at least needed my spikes - but having them felt like enough.

Beautiful but difficult hike. About 90% of the trail is snow covered. Much of it is soft snow on top of hard packed snow. Be prepared for missteps where you sink in pretty far because you stray off the hard pack.

In the spring when the snow is softening, snow shoes would be preferable for the snowy terrain (and hiking boots for the dirt trail). Beautiful views, moderate incline, well marked.

Great hike and beautiful blue water. Parking lot has been upgraded with asphalt and port-a-potties. Trail has dried out a lot since early March posters mention.

Beautiful trail but you cannot do the full loop trail outlined due to untracked deep snow so the loop gets abbreviated by about 2.5 miles. Still amazing views and great trail

The trail was clear and easy to access. There were areas that were still icy on the hike out due to the time of year.

HikingIcyMuddy

This trail is currently very muddy and slippery in places as there’s still some ice/snow on some parts of the trail. Tread slowly and with caution; it makes for a beautiful hike.
