Seriously icey on 5th December. Crampons a must. Great view from the top.

Great quick hike but way too busy.

great Trail for a half day hike with some good conditioning and what A View From The Top. Outstanding restaurant and bar to relax in when you're done. Perfect playground in Vancouver's backyard

I’ve done it a good number of times. The best workout ever if you’re up to the challenge.

A challenging adventurous hike for kids and families, easy but not boring for the more seasoned hiker. It’s definitely a far cry in technical difficulty from your local park trails, substantially harder.

Great hike and view

Amazing views at the top. Worth the pain getting up there. Your legs will burn.

FYI West Buntzen Lake trail is closed. You can detour via Lakeview Trail but it adds about an hour, is steeper and has no view of the lake.

It was a great hike to do- nice views and not too busy. Took about 1 hour and 40 minutes to go halfway and back based on closures. Lots of families with kids and pets so more of an easy-moderate hike.

Hiked to First Lake. Trail was dangerously slippery on the approach to the lake due to icey rocks and mud. We had 3 kids with us, so we spent some time at first lake and the headed back to the car. great weather though!

Great workout! The first quarter is the hardest to me.

Pretty nice, very touristy.

Beautiful view and lots of space at the top make the end of this climb so very worth it. Tough switch backs at the beginning and evens out after 20 minute or so. Took some novice hiker (Friends) and they did great. Definitely recommend!

Very short and well maintained. Mostly gravel trail from the sea to sky gondola parking lot.
Great for families with young kids.
Well worth the time!

Great hike with lots to see along the way then a spectacular visit if greater Vancouver

Done this twice now while visiting Vancouver, love it!!! Second time, half way up I was wondering why I was doing it again, but worth it once you get to the top.

This is not a hard trail, I would rate it as moderate.

Went on Remembrance Sunday. The first bit up to Cabin Lake is well maintained but steep. The path is icy in parts so be careful. I would recommend going via Black Mountain and Cabin Lake which I think is shorter plus Black Mountain has views of Howe Sound.

View is excellent!! Well worth the trip.

Steep uphill climb in the beginning was a great warmup to start off the trail. After that, the trail is easy and pleasant. Mildly trafficked on the Saturday afternoon we hiked. Spectacular view at the top

Took 3 hours and 15 in and out, with 30 mins up top. It’s steep very steep. Lots of stairs and rocks. Chains and ladders at the top. View is incredible. Was a great challenging hike

Pretty hard and totally uphill all the way. The views up are beautiful, worth your efforts. Took us 75 mins. Gondola was closed for seasonal maintenance so had to go down by the BCMC trail which was very tiring and painful as the trail was torn up due to heavy rain.

Nice easy trail. Different altitudes during the road. Beautiful scenery, nice people.

Over rated in my opinion. It's a good hike, but it's very busy most of the time and I hike for quiet, lot to be in rush hour. 50% people who are trying to beat their times are more than happy to give those slower a little nudge to get you out of their way.

A solid hour of stair climbing and a breathtaking view at the top! Another reason I want to move to Vancouver so this can be a part of my daily morning routine.

Very short with a wonderful view of the waterfall. Touristy and family friendly.

Lots of traffic. Too many steps but convenient and close to the city.

Amazing hike!! My husband and I took our dog on our hike and we loved how challenging the trails were. The peak was well worth the view. Our calves were sore for 3 days. Lol. We would do it again if we’re ever in the area.

superbe balade en foret avec bcp de lacs aux couleurs de l’automne. seul regret, le bruit de l’autoroute lorsque l’on admire la vue sur la sunshine coast
