Nice and simple hike. My boyfriend, dog and I hiked out to the 3rd waterfall which is about 8km from the trailhead. Great views the whole way and easy trail to follow along the river. Recommend this hike to anyone!

Closed for caribou conservation as of Nov 1... check Parks Canada trail reports for update as to when that area has the restrictions lifted! Beautiful views here though

Crescent falls will always be a favourite - try to visit at least once a years and have been down there in basically all types of weather!!

Since it was so close to the main road, was an easy side trip to do .. the falls I didn’t think were too impressive however the backdrop with the mountains looked amazing.

Beautiful trail. We made it in the end of October and there were close to none tourists.

Did this walk early in Oct after a snow fall. track was very icy and treacherous but the view was well worth it.

It’s a beautiful spot but the trails were extremely hard to follow. We found our selves wandering a lot trying to figure out where to go. Not child friendly.

Ended up off trail and found myself bushwhacking and climbing precariously along a rock-face.. not what I had intended!! Lol but seriously stunning views :)

Very easy hike with some very amazing views! We stopped at this hike in the morning and it was so refreshing! Easy hike to use as a warm up before heading to the motel challenging ones!

I loved everything about this little hike! Not overrun with tourists and the views are simply breathtaking. Words and photos don’t do it justice!

Great for the whole family, a lovely sightseeing opportunity without too much work. A bit busy though, and pushy tourists to avert, but a great time nevertheless!

This is a nice hike with numerous waterfalls leading to Stanley Falls. The trailhead sign says that the trail is not maintained by Parks Canada and to be aware of steep cliffs and use caution. I was a bit hesitant after reading the signage, but there was nothing to be nervous about as long as you don’t get too close to the cliffs. Just use common sense. When you head on the trail, you will follow along Beauty Creek initially. There is a paved section of trail that does not indicate whether to go left or right to continue to Stanley Falls. Go right. At the end of the paved section, you will head into a forested area and start to hike along the river leading up to Stanley Falls. The trail is not difficult to follow, but watch where you are walking as there are many roots and objects that you can trip on. At the end is a sign indicating that you have reached Stanley Falls. If you continue past the falls, there is a sign saying wilderness route. I didn’t venture past. Nice, relatively easy hike - good stop if you love waterfalls.

Trail was a little difficult to find, so we made our own. Chose a few harder trails to follow, but nothing most people couldn't handle. Great view!

This hike was one of my favorites! We came here in early September. Great weather for hiking. No crowds here and the waterfalls in the canyon were gorgeous. Don’t miss out on this trail!!!

Great trail, easy hike beautiful suspension bridge. Did this hike with husband and friends at 26 weeks pregnant. Would be a great family hike. We carried on pass the park boundary; well worth it! The trail does get harder past the waterfalls and can be a little hard to navigate.

The falls are incredible. The walkway gets very close to the falls at several places. Powerful and loud. The walk itself is on a paved path with several stairs. Very close to the road, very easy to get to.

The Falls are a definite must see if you go to Jasper.

Such a nice surprise! We didn’t even put these falls on our itinerary and I’m so glad someone said they were a must see. We were there in the morning and it was a beautiful chilly day. So pretty walking around and seeing the different views. Great for all ages and all activity levels!

Great place to take a break and see some beautiful scenery.

Scenic, easy trail. I think next time I'll continue on the trail after the first falls.

Dry Island Buffalo Jump is really unique! We spent a couple hours hiking around looking at the different rock formations. We were a group with a wide variety of ages from 7 months to 62 years. We stayed on the lower trails and it was easy enough for our two year old to navigate. Keep dogs on leash because there are quite a few cactus. There’s also a nice picnic area with toilets and boat launch access to the Red Deer river.

Easy short hike with stunning views up top.

beautiful place, terribly marked trails. spent the first hour lost but it was gorgeous every step of the way.

This hike is a stunner!!! The trail runs alongside ribbon creek making it very enjoyable. Most definitely recommend this hike!!!

Wow the views were amazing! Not too hard of a hike. We were a little confused at first where the trail started but once we figured it out it was great!

This was a great little hike not super hard but it is a great way to start the day and get your heart rate up. Due to other reviews we were happy to find the start of the trail at the two large rocks to the right of the parking lot. The trail is marked by orange ribbons along the way which was nice. This app shows fellow hikers and there locations on a decently populated trail. The falls are beautiful.

Pretty hike - the steep view down to the river is intimidating in places. Better to start at the viewpoint and go to the falls.
