Short hike to a beautiful falls.. some very steep stairs but well worth the effort.

I don’t know what kind of joke y’all are trying to play but this trial isn’t easy or moderate. This trail is one that you have to be an expert hiker in order to climb it. Not to mention the directions in order to get there are terrible...cause there are none. Best of luck to whoever attempts this trial.

We loved the trail and the falls. The rock stairs are a little crazy and wonky but getting to the landing is worth it. You are right next to the falls and if it’s been raining they can be roaring! Going back up is a little work. The rock stairs require a bit of mobility and strength but the main trail is easy.

Great experience. Crossing the creek multiple times can be challenging due to slick rocks.

The entire 7.5 mile loop that includes the Devils Bathtub was fairly strenuous. I hiked the back 5 miles first and then descended the mountain and made it to the bathtub. The first 2-3 miles were fairly difficult and elevated but once on top of the mountain fairly easy going. Trails are rustic and at some points wild. Keep eyes on the trees. The park has marked the trail with yellow markers following the path on the trees. I got turned around several times and had to back track to make sure I was going in the right direction. The bathtub was very interesting and would probably have been better if I didn’t make it there right around dark. I recommend you doing the hike earlier. On the way back from the tub (2 miles to the parking lot from this spot) you will have to cross about 10 different places on the main stream. Prepare to get wet! Overall, the trail was the type of hiking I enjoy. More of a back country feel. Feel free to bring dogs (it is pet friendly) but I recommend bringing animals that have experience going up and down steep hills with rocks and streams.

Pretty easy hike, some steep stairs at the bottom but a close angle to see the falls.

Easy Trail except for the final 60 or so stone steps down to the waterfall. But it is worth it as they take you to a viewing area that is up close to the falls. It has been very wet this summer and the falls were spectacular. I have seen pictures of the falls in a drier season and they can be a mere trickle. The loop takes you back up the stream that feeds the falls and is very nice.

I really liked this trail as an easy walk to escape the city. It is all paved, but there are some opportunities to go into the woods if you like (near Earthquake Park for example). It also has the outer planets of the Solar System trail that starts at downtown Anchorage which is very cute and educational. I got up to Neptune -- next time I will make it to Pluto (six hours from the sun in downtown - I started too late).

Easy beautiful trail

Excellent for family. Very busy on week end. Wide, easy trail to 3 view points. A few benches to rest

Love Eklutna Lake. Many great hikes around here and I highly recommend staying a night or two at the Serenity Falls Hut after mile 12. Look forward to returning soon.

Really pretty and short - but definitely moderate (not easy) hike between the climb on the way back and the uneven surfaces. We were mostly alone mid afternoon on a Friday, but as we left we passed at least a bakers dozen of college students on their way in with (open on the trail) cheap beer, so perhaps less delightful late in the day on a Friday!

Very easy trail to see a beautiful waterfall. Dog friendly on leash.

not easy. 1/2 mile but either up or down, no flat.

Nice bike ride and easy trail. On a clear day you can see Mount Denali.

Great out and back. Amazing gorge with cool rock formations. Most people only hike the lower and upper ends, so otherwise we had the trail to ourselves. (Reminded me of Linville Gorge, NC)

The trail needs some work put into it. A few parts need guardrails and steps. The falls are pretty though.

Fun little trail, very rocky as to be expected. Nice and scenic swimming area at the end. Fun but very, very crowded.

This is a pretty easy trail. Not thing special to look at, but has a cute swimming hole at the end. It is ALWAYS CROWDED. We used to go swimming here 20 years ago before it became a thing in any guide books and there really wasn’t a trail to follow. But we skip it now because it’s just not big enough for the crowds.

Beautiful and easy enough even for moderately out of shape folks like me.

Really enjoyed the hike to the falls. The trail is gorgeous, and the "obstacles" walking in and around rocks and tree roots made it interesting. Definitely not difficult, since we saw many people with young children during the hike. Took our two Chihuahuas along and they had no problem with the terrain. The falls at the end made the hike well worth it.

Great bike ride!

Great hike. Most of the trail is near the river. It has some beautiful views.

didnt think it was that difficult to hike to the bathtub , some slippery rock and mud, but that is to be expected hiking along a creek , the water was a bit chilly but crystal clear definitely will do again

Amazing wildlife! We saw 3 small wolves scampering around, deer, and accidentally walked a few feet from a rattlesnake! We went counterclockwise around the loop, reaching the bathtub at mile 5. The first 1.5 miles were super steep, but all pretty easy after that. The bathtub was gorgeous. We went on a weekday and saw no one on the trail until we got past the bathtub and saw people doing the 4 mile out and back hike. You have to hop over rocks but it had been dry for a week or so and I didn't feel like I ever had to put on the water shoes I brought. definitely go on a weekday- I can see it being kinda cramped and miserable with a whole bunch of people.

Beautiful hike lots of atvs and bikes but they all slowed down for those of us who where walking.

Beautiful! Gorgeous day. Kids had a great time. Views were exellent. Didn't make it the full 25 miles around the lake but had a great time nonetheless.
